Now ､
､ מַלְכָּ֔א
mal·kā,
king ､
תְּקִ֥ים
tə·qîm
､ אֱסָרָ֖א
’ĕ·sā·rā
decree the ､
וְתִרְשֻׁ֣ם
wə·ṯir·šum
and sign
､ כְּתָבָ֑א
kə·ṯā·ḇā;
writing the ､
דִּ֣י
dî
so that
לָ֧א
lā
､ לְהַשְׁנָיָ֛ה
lə·haš·nā·yāh
it be changed ､
כְּדָת־
kə·ḏāṯ-
according to the law
מָדַ֥י
mā·ḏay
of the Mede
､ וּפָרַ֖ס
ū·p̄ā·ras
and Persian ､
דִּי־
dî-
לָ֥א
lā
not
. תֶעְדֵּֽא׃
ṯe‘·dê.
