וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙

And spoke
מֶ֣לֶךְ
me·leḵ
the king
מִצְרַ֔יִם
miṣ·ra·yim,
לַֽמְיַלְּדֹ֖ת
lam·yal·lə·ḏōṯ
to the midwives
､ הָֽעִבְרִיֹּ֑ת
hā·‘iḇ·rî·yōṯ;
אֲשֶׁ֨ר
’ă·šer
of whom
שֵׁ֤ם
šêm
the name
הָֽאַחַת֙
hā·’a·ḥaṯ
of one
､ שִׁפְרָ֔ה
šip̄·rāh,
וְשֵׁ֥ם
wə·šêm
and the name
הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית
haš·šê·nîṯ
of the second
. פּוּעָֽה׃
pū·‘āh.
