the earth ､
וַתֶּחְשַׁ֣ךְ
wat·teḥ·šaḵ
. הָאָרֶץ֒
hā·’ā·reṣ
the land .
וַיֹּ֜אכַל
way·yō·ḵal
And they ate
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
כָּל־
kāl-
עֵ֣שֶׂב
‘ê·śeḇ
､ הָאָ֗רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ,
of the land ､
וְאֵת֙
wə·’êṯ
and
כָּל־
kāl-
פְּרִ֣י
pə·rî
the fruit
הָעֵ֔ץ
hā·‘êṣ,
of the trees
אֲשֶׁ֥ר
’ă·šer
הוֹתִ֖יר
hō·w·ṯîr
. הַבָּרָ֑ד
hab·bā·rāḏ;
the hail .
וְלֹא־
wə·lō-
So not
נוֹתַ֨ר
nō·w·ṯar
כָּל־
kāl-
יֶ֧רֶק
ye·req
､ בָּעֵ֛ץ
bā·‘êṣ
on the trees ､
וּבְעֵ֥שֶׂב
ū·ḇə·‘ê·śeḇ
or on the plants
､ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה
haś·śā·ḏeh
of the field ､
בְּכָל־
bə·ḵāl
אֶ֥רֶץ
’e·reṣ
the land
. מִצְרָֽיִם׃
miṣ·rā·yim.
of Egypt .
