וַיֹּ֣אמֶר
way·yō·mer
And He said
אֵלַי֮
’ê·lay
to me
הֲרָאִ֣יתָ
hă·rā·’î·ṯā
בֶן־
ḇen-
､ אָדָם֒
’ā·ḏām
of man ､
אֲשֶׁ֨ר
’ă·šer
זִקְנֵ֤י
ziq·nê
the elders
בֵֽית־
ḇêṯ-
of the house
יִשְׂרָאֵל֙
yiś·rā·’êl
עֹשִׂ֣ים
‘ō·śîm
do
､ בַּחֹ֔שֶׁךְ
ba·ḥō·šeḵ,
in the dark ､
אִ֖ישׁ
’îš
בְּחַדְרֵ֣י
bə·ḥaḏ·rê
in the room
؟ מַשְׂכִּית֑וֹ
maś·kî·ṯōw;
of his idols ؟
כִּ֣י
kî
､ אֹמְרִ֗ים
’ō·mə·rîm,
they say ､
– אֵ֤ין
’ên
not –
יְהוָה֙
Yah·weh
רֹאֶ֣ה
rō·’eh
אֹתָ֔נוּ
’ō·ṯā·nū,
us
עָזַ֥ב
‘ā·zaḇ
יְהוָ֖ה
Yah·weh
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
. הָאָֽרֶץ׃
hā·’ā·reṣ.
the land .
