וַיֹּ֣אמֶר
way·yō·mer
And said
､ אֱלֹהִ֔ים
’ĕ·lō·hîm,
God ､
נַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה
na·‘ă·śeh
אָדָ֛ם
’ā·ḏām
､ בְּצַלְמֵ֖נוּ
bə·ṣal·mê·nū
in Our image ､
– כִּדְמוּתֵ֑נוּ
kiḏ·mū·ṯê·nū;
וְיִרְדּוּ֩
wə·yir·dū
בִדְגַ֨ת
ḇiḏ·ḡaṯ
､ הַיָּ֜ם
hay·yām
of the sea ､
וּבְע֣וֹף
ū·ḇə·‘ō·wp̄
and over the birds
､ הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם
haš·šā·ma·yim,
of the air ､
､ וּבַבְּהֵמָה֙
ū·ḇab·bə·hê·māh
and over the livestock ､
וּבְכָל־
ū·ḇə·ḵāl
and over all
､ הָאָ֔רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ,
the earth ､
וּבְכָל־
ū·ḇə·ḵāl
הָרֶ֖מֶשׂ
hā·re·meś
הָֽרֹמֵ֥שׂ
hā·rō·mêś
עַל־
‘al-
on
. הָאָֽרֶץ׃
hā·’ā·reṣ.
the earth .
