and Javan ､

､ וְתֻבָ֑ל

and Tubal ､

､ וּמֶ֖שֶׁךְ

and Meshech ､

. וְתִירָֽס׃

wə·ṯî·rās.

and Tiras .

וּבְנֵ֖י

ū·ḇə·nê

And the sons

: גֹּ֑מֶר

gō·mer;

of Gomer :

､ אַשְׁכֲּנַ֥ז

’aš·kă·naz

､ וְרִיפַ֖ת

wə·rî·p̄aṯ

and Riphath ､

. וְתֹגַרְמָֽה׃

wə·ṯō·ḡar·māh.

וּבְנֵ֥י

ū·ḇə·nê

And the sons

: יָוָ֖ן

yā·wān

of Javan :

､ אֱלִישָׁ֣ה

’ĕ·lî·šāh

､ וְתַרְשִׁ֑ישׁ

wə·ṯar·šîš;

and Tarshish ､

､ כִּתִּ֖ים

kit·tîm

. וְדֹדָנִֽים׃

wə·ḏō·ḏā·nîm.

מֵ֠אֵלֶּה

mê·’êl·leh

נִפְרְד֞וּ

nip̄·rə·ḏū

אִיֵּ֤י

’î·yê

הַגּוֹיִם֙

hag·gō·w·yim

– בְּאַרְצֹתָ֔ם

bə·’ar·ṣō·ṯām,

into their lands –

אִ֖ישׁ

’îš

､ לִלְשֹׁנ֑וֹ

lil·šō·nōw;

according to his language ､

､ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם

lə·miš·pə·ḥō·ṯām

according to their families ､

. בְּגוֹיֵהֶֽם׃

bə·ḡō·w·yê·hem.

into their nations .

And the sons

､ וַֽחֲוִילָ֔ה

and Havilah ､

､ וְסַבְתָּ֥ה

and Sabta ､

､ וְרַעְמָ֖ה

wə·ra‘·māh

and Raamah ､

– וְסַבְתְּכָ֑א

wə·saḇ·tə·ḵā;

and Sabtecha –

וּבְנֵ֥י

and the sons

: רַעְמָ֖ה

ra‘·māh

､ שְׁבָ֥א

šə·ḇā

. וּדְדָֽן׃

ū·ḏə·ḏān.

and Dedan .

וְכ֖וּשׁ

wə·ḵūš

And Cush

יָלַ֣ד

yā·laḏ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

– נִמְרֹ֑ד

nim·rōḏ;

ה֣וּא

hū

he

הֵחֵ֔ל

hê·ḥêl,

לִֽהְי֥וֹת

lih·yō·wṯ

to be

גִּבֹּ֖ר

gib·bōr

. בָּאָֽרֶץ׃

bā·’ā·reṣ.

on the earth .

מַמְלַכְתּוֹ֙

､ בָּבֶ֔ל

､ וְאֶ֖רֶךְ

and Erech ､

､ וְאַכַּ֣ד

wə·’ak·kaḏ

and Accad ､

､ וְכַלְנֵ֑ה

wə·ḵal·nêh;

and Calneh ､

בְּאֶ֖רֶץ

bə·’e·reṣ

in the land

. שִׁנְעָֽר׃

and Zeboiim ､

עַד־

as far as

. לָֽשַׁע׃

､ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם

according to their families ､

in their lands ､
