וַיֹּ֣אמֶר
way·yō·mer
and said
､ לָבָ֔ן
lā·ḇān,
Laban ､
לֹא־
lō-
not
יֵעָשֶׂ֥ה
yê·‘ā·śeh
it must be done
כֵ֖ן
ḵên
so
､ בִּמְקוֹמֵ֑נוּ
bim·qō·w·mê·nū;
in our country ､
לָתֵ֥ת
lā·ṯêṯ
to give
הַצְּעִירָ֖ה
haṣ·ṣə·‘î·rāh
לִפְנֵ֥י
lip̄·nê
. הַבְּכִירָֽה׃
hab·bə·ḵî·rāh.
the firstborn .
