וַתָּסַר֩
wat·tā·sar
בִּגְדֵ֨י
biḡ·ḏê
אַלְמְנוּתָ֜הּ
’al·mə·nū·ṯāh
､ מֵֽעָלֶ֗יהָ
mê·‘ā·le·hā,
from her ､
וַתְּכַ֤ס
wat·tə·ḵas
､ בַּצָּעִיף֙
baṣ·ṣā·‘îp̄
with a veil ､
､ וַתִּתְעַלָּ֔ף
wat·tiṯ·‘al·lāp̄,
וַתֵּ֙שֶׁב֙
wat·tê·šeḇ
and sat
､ בְּפֶ֣תַח
bə·p̄e·ṯaḥ
in the entrance ､
עֵינַ֔יִם
‘ê·na·yim,
אֲשֶׁ֖ר
’ă·šer
עַל־
‘al-
on
דֶּ֣רֶךְ
de·reḵ
the way
– תִּמְנָ֑תָה
tim·nā·ṯāh;
to Timnah –
כִּ֤י
kî
רָאֲתָה֙
rā·’ă·ṯāh
כִּֽי־
kî-
גָדַ֣ל
ḡā·ḏal
､ שֵׁלָ֔ה
šê·lāh,
Shelah ､
וְהִ֕וא
wə·hi·w
and she
לֹֽא־
lō-
not
נִתְּנָ֥ה
nit·tə·nāh
ל֖וֹ
lōw
to him
. לְאִשָּֽׁה׃
lə·’iš·šāh.
as a wife .
