וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח
way·yiš·laḥ
And sent
יְהוּדָ֜ה
yə·hū·ḏāh
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
גְּדִ֣י
gə·ḏî
the young
הָֽעִזִּ֗ים
hā·‘iz·zîm,
בְּיַד֙
bə·yaḏ
by the hand
רֵעֵ֣הוּ
rê·‘ê·hū
､ הָֽעֲדֻלָּמִ֔י
hā·‘ă·ḏul·lā·mî,
the Adullamite ､
לָקַ֥חַת
lā·qa·ḥaṯ
הָעֵרָב֖וֹן
hā·‘ê·rā·ḇō·wn
מִיַּ֣ד
mî·yaḏ
– הָאִשָּׁ֑ה
hā·’iš·šāh;
of the woman –
וְלֹ֖א
wə·lō
but not
. מְצָאָֽהּ׃
mə·ṣā·’āh.
he did find her .
