וַיִּשְׁלַח֩

יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל
yiś·rā·’êl
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
יְמִינ֜וֹ
yə·mî·nōw
וַיָּ֨שֶׁת
way·yā·šeṯ
and laid [it]
עַל־
‘al-
on
רֹ֤אשׁ
rōš
the head
､ אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙
’ep̄·ra·yim
of Ephraim ､
וְה֣וּא
wə·hū
and he [was]
– הַצָּעִ֔יר
haṣ·ṣā·‘îr,
the younger –
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
שְׂמֹאל֖וֹ
śə·mō·lōw
עַל־
‘al-
on
רֹ֣אשׁ
rōš
､ מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה
mə·naš·šeh;
of Manasseh ､
שִׂכֵּל֙
śik·kêl
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ יָדָ֔יו
yā·ḏāw,
כִּ֥י
kî
מְנַשֶּׁ֖ה
mə·naš·šeh
. הַבְּכֽוֹר׃
hab·bə·ḵō·wr.
the firstborn .
