הַעֵ֤ת

ha·‘êṯ

[is it] time

לָכֶם֙

lā·ḵem

､ אַתֶּ֔ם

’at·tem,

[even] you ､

לָשֶׁ֖בֶת

lā·še·ḇeṯ

､ בְּבָתֵּיכֶ֣ם

bə·ḇāt·tê·ḵem

in your houses ､

סְפוּנִ֑ים

sə·p̄ū·nîm;

וְהַבַּ֥יִת

wə·hab·ba·yiṯ

הַזֶּ֖ה

haz·zeh

؟ חָרֵֽב׃

ḥā·rêḇ.

[to lie] in ruins ؟

וְעַתָּ֕ה

wə·‘at·tāh

כֹּ֥ה

kōh

אָמַ֖ר

’ā·mar

יְהוָ֣ה

Yah·weh

– צְבָא֑וֹת

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ;

of hosts –

שִׂ֥ימוּ

לְבַבְכֶ֖ם

lə·ḇaḇ·ḵem

עַל־

‘al-

. דַּרְכֵיכֶֽם׃

dar·ḵê·ḵem.

זְרַעְתֶּ֨ם

zə·ra‘·tem

､ הַרְבֵּ֜ה

har·bêh

much ､

וְהָבֵ֣א

wə·hā·ḇê

and bring in

– מְעָ֗ט

mə·‘āṭ,

､ אָכ֤וֹל

’ā·ḵō·wl

– וְאֵין־

wə·’ên-

but not –

לְשָׂבְעָה֙

lə·śā·ḇə·‘āh

､ שָׁת֣וֹ

šā·ṯōw

וְאֵין־

wə·’ên-

but you are not

– לְשָׁכְרָ֔ה

lə·šā·ḵə·rāh,

filled with drink –

לָב֖וֹשׁ

lā·ḇō·wōš

You clothe yourselves

– וְאֵין־

wə·’ên-

but no one is –

לְחֹ֣ם

lə·ḥōm

ל֑וֹ

lōw;

to

וְהַ֨מִּשְׂתַּכֵּ֔ר

wə·ham·miś·tak·kêr,

and he who earns wages

מִשְׂתַּכֵּ֖ר

miś·tak·kêr

Earns wages [to put]

אֶל־

’el-

צְר֥וֹר

ṣə·rō·wr

. נָקֽוּב׃

nā·qūḇ.

､ עֵ֖ץ

wood ､

וּבְנ֣וּ

– הַבָּ֑יִת

hab·bā·yiṯ;

the temple –

וְאֶרְצֶה־

wə·’er·ṣeh-

that I may take pleasure

בּ֥וֹ

bōw

in it

[ואכבד]

wə·’ek·kā·ḇêḏ

-

､ (וְאֶכָּבְדָ֖ה)

wə·’ek·kā·ḇə·ḏāh

and be glorified ､

אָמַ֥ר

’ā·mar

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

פָּנֹ֤ה

pā·nōh

אֶל־

’el-

､ הַרְבֵּה֙

har·bêh

much ､

､ וְהִנֵּ֣ה

wə·hin·nêh

but indeed ､

– לִמְעָ֔ט

lim·‘āṭ,

[it [came to] little –

וַהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם

wa·hă·ḇê·ṯem

and when you brought it

､ הַבַּ֖יִת

hab·ba·yiṯ

home ､

וְנָפַ֣חְתִּי

wə·nā·p̄aḥ·tî

and I blew away

ב֑וֹ

ḇōw;

it

יַ֣עַן

ya·‘an

מֶ֗ה

meh,

נְאֻם֙

nə·’um

יְהוָ֣ה

Yah·weh

. צְבָא֔וֹת

of hosts .

בֵּיתִי֙

of My house

אֲשֶׁר־

ה֣וּא

､ חָרֵ֔ב

[in] ruins ､

וְאַתֶּ֥ם

wə·’at·tem

and while of you

רָצִ֖ים

rā·ṣîm

אִ֥ישׁ

’îš

. לְבֵיתֽוֹ׃

lə·ḇê·ṯōw.

to his own house .

עַל־

‘al-

כֵּ֣ן

עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם

כָּלְא֥וּ

שָמַ֖יִם‪‬‪‬‪‬

､ מִטָּ֑ל

the dew ､

וְהָאָ֖רֶץ

wə·hā·’ā·reṣ

and the earth

כָּלְאָ֥ה

kā·lə·’āh

. יְבוּלָֽהּ׃

yə·ḇū·lāh.

וָאֶקְרָ֨א

wā·’eq·rā

חֹ֜רֶב

ḥō·reḇ

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ הָאָ֣רֶץ

hā·’ā·reṣ

the land ､

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and

､ הֶהָרִ֗ים

he·hā·rîm,

the mountains ､

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and on

､ הַדָּגָן֙

had·dā·ḡān

the grain ､

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and

､ הַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ

hat·tî·rō·wōš

the new wine ､

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and

､ הַיִּצְהָ֔ר

hay·yiṣ·hār,

the oil ､

וְעַ֛ל

wə·‘al

and on

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

､ תּוֹצִ֖יא

tō·w·ṣî

brings forth ､

הָאֲדָמָ֑ה

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh;

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and on

､ הָֽאָדָם֙

hā·’ā·ḏām

men ､

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and

､ הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה

hab·bə·hê·māh,

וְעַ֖ל

wə·‘al

and on

כָּל־

kāl-

יְגִ֥יעַ

yə·ḡî·a‘

. כַּפָּֽיִם׃

kap·pā·yim.

of [your] hands .

､ אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֔ם

וְעַל־

and

דִּבְרֵי֙

חַגַּ֣י

､ הַנָּבִ֔יא

the prophet ､

כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר

שְׁלָח֖וֹ

אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם

וַיִּֽירְא֥וּ
