Woe to Tyrants

הַחֹֽקְקִ֖ים

ha·ḥō·qə·qîm

to those who decree

､ חִקְקֵי־

ḥiq·qê-

אָ֑וֶן

’ā·wen;

וּֽמְכַתְּבִ֥ים

ū·mə·ḵat·tə·ḇîm

עָמָ֖ל

‘ā·māl

– כִּתֵּֽבוּ׃

kit·tê·ḇū.

[Which] they have prescribed –

לְהַטּ֤וֹת

lə·haṭ·ṭō·wṯ

to rob

､ מִדִּין֙

mid·dîn

of justice ､

דַּלִּ֔ים

dal·lîm,

the poor

וְלִגְזֹ֕ל

wə·liḡ·zōl

and to take

מִשְׁפַּ֖ט

miš·paṭ

what is right from

עֲנִיֵּ֣י

‘ă·nî·yê

the poor

､ עַמִּ֑י

‘am·mî;

of My people ､

לִהְי֤וֹת

lih·yō·wṯ

אַלְמָנוֹת֙

’al·mā·nō·wṯ

､ שְׁלָלָ֔ם

šə·lā·lām,

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and [that]

! יְתוֹמִ֖ים

yə·ṯō·w·mîm

the fatherless !

. יָבֹֽזּוּ׃

yā·ḇōz·zū.

וּמַֽה־

ū·mah-

And what

תַּעֲשׂוּ֙

ta·‘ă·śū

will you do

לְי֣וֹם

lə·yō·wm

in the day

､ פְּקֻדָּ֔ה

pə·qud·dāh,

of punishment ､

וּלְשׁוֹאָ֖ה

ū·lə·šō·w·’āh

and in the desolation

؟ מִמֶּרְחָ֣ק

mim·mer·ḥāq

תָּב֑וֹא

tā·ḇō·w;

[which] will come

עַל־

‘al-

to

מִי֙

mî

תָּנ֣וּסוּ

tā·nū·sū

؟ לְעֶזְרָ֔ה

lə·‘ez·rāh,

וְאָ֥נָה

wə·’ā·nāh

תַעַזְב֖וּ

ṯa·‘az·ḇū

؟ כְּבוֹדְכֶֽם׃

kə·ḇō·wḏ·ḵem.

בִּלְתִּ֤י

bil·tî

כָרַע֙

ḵā·ra‘

they shall bow down

תַּ֣חַת

ta·ḥaṯ

､ אַסִּ֔יר

’as·sîr,

the prisoners ､

וְתַ֥חַת

wə·ṯa·ḥaṯ

. הֲרוּגִ֖ים

hă·rū·ḡîm

the slain .

יִפֹּ֑לוּ

yip·pō·lū;

They shall fall

בְּכָל־

bə·ḵāl

זֹאת֙

zōṯ

לֹא־

lō-

not

､ שָׁ֣ב

šāḇ

is turned away ､

אַפּ֔וֹ

’ap·pōw,

. וְע֖וֹד

wə·‘ō·wḏ

but still .

יָד֥וֹ

yā·ḏōw

. נְטוּיָֽה׃

nə·ṭū·yāh.

[is] stretched out .

the rod

､ אַפִּ֑י

’ap·pî;

of My anger ､

וּמַטֶּה־

ū·maṭ·ṭeh-

and the staff

ה֥וּא

hū

is

בְיָדָ֖ם

ḇə·yā·ḏām

. זַעְמִֽי׃

za‘·mî.

My indignation .

､ בְּג֤וֹי

bə·ḡō·w

Against nation ､

חָנֵף֙

ḥā·nêp̄

אֲשַׁלְּחֶ֔נּוּ

’ă·šal·lə·ḥen·nū,

I will send him

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

עַ֥ם

‘am

עֶבְרָתִ֖י

‘eḇ·rā·ṯî

of My wrath

､ אֲצַוֶּ֑נּוּ

’ă·ṣaw·wen·nū;

I will give him charge ､

לִשְׁלֹ֤ל

liš·lōl

､ שָׁלָל֙

šā·lāl

the spoil ､

וְלָבֹ֣ז

wə·lā·ḇōz

and to take

､ בַּ֔ז

baz,

the prey ､

[ולשימו]

ū·lə·śî·mōw

-

(וּלְשׂוּמ֥וֹ)

ū·lə·śū·mōw

and to them

מִרְמָ֖ס

mir·mās

כְּחֹ֥מֶר

kə·ḥō·mer

. חוּצֽוֹת׃

ḥū·ṣō·wṯ.

of the streets .

וְהוּא֙

wə·hū

And yet he

לֹא־

lō-

not

､ כֵ֣ן

ḵên

so ､

יְדַמֶּ֔ה

yə·ḏam·meh,

וּלְבָב֖וֹ

ū·lə·ḇā·ḇōw

לֹא־

lō-

– כֵ֣ן

ḵên

so –

יַחְשֹׁ֑ב

yaḥ·šōḇ;

כִּ֚י

kî

but

לְהַשְׁמִ֣יד

lə·haš·mîḏ

בִּלְבָב֔וֹ

bil·ḇā·ḇōw,

[it is] in his heart

וּלְהַכְרִ֥ית

ū·lə·haḵ·rîṯ

גּוֹיִ֖ם

gō·w·yim

לֹ֥א

not

. מְעָֽט׃

mə·‘āṭ.

a few .

､ יֹאמַ֑ר

he says ､

הֲלֹ֥א

[Are] not

שָׂרַ֛י

יַחְדָּ֖ו

؟ מְלָכִֽים׃

؟ כְּכַרְכְּמִ֖ישׁ

؟ שֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃

כַּאֲשֶׁר֙

מָצְאָ֣ה

mā·ṣə·’āh

יָדִ֔י

yā·ḏî,

לְמַמְלְכֹ֖ת

lə·mam·lə·ḵōṯ

､ הָאֱלִ֑יל

hā·’ĕ·lîl;

of the idols ､

וּפְסִ֣ילֵיהֶ֔ם

ū·p̄ə·sî·lê·hem,

and Whose carved images

מִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

mî·rū·šā·lim

excelled those of Jerusalem

. וּמִשֹּׁמְרֽוֹן׃

ū·miš·šō·mə·rō·wn.

､ הֲלֹ֗א

hă·lō,

Shall not ､

כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר

ka·’ă·šer

as

עָשִׂ֛יתִי

‘ā·śî·ṯî

לְשֹׁמְר֖וֹן

lə·šō·mə·rō·wn

､ וְלֶאֱלִילֶ֑יהָ

wə·le·’ĕ·lî·le·hā;

and her idols ､

כֵּ֛ן

אֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה

’e·‘ĕ·śeh

I do

לִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם

lî·rū·šā·lim

؟ וְלַעֲצַבֶּֽיהָ׃

wə·la·‘ă·ṣab·be·hā.

and her idols' ؟

､ וְהָיָ֗ה

wə·hā·yāh,

therefore it shall come to pass ､

כִּֽי־

kî-

יְבַצַּ֤ע

yə·ḇaṣ·ṣa‘

אֲדֹנָי֙

’ă·ḏō·nāy

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

כָּל־

kāl-

מַֽעֲשֵׂ֔הוּ

ma·‘ă·śê·hū,

בְּהַ֥ר

bə·har

צִיּ֖וֹן

ṣî·yō·wn

､ וּבִירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם

ū·ḇî·rū·šā·lim;

and on Jerusalem ､

אֶפְקֹ֗ד

’ep̄·qōḏ,

[that He will say] I will punish

עַל־

‘al-

on

פְּרִי־

pə·rî-

גֹ֙דֶל֙

ḡō·ḏel

of the arrogant

לְבַ֣ב

lə·ḇaḇ

מֶֽלֶךְ־

me·leḵ-

of the king

､ אַשּׁ֔וּר

’aš·šūr,

of Assyria ､

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and

תִּפְאֶ֖רֶת

tip̄·’e·reṯ

ר֥וּם

rūm

. עֵינָֽיו׃

‘ê·nāw.

כִּ֣י

kî

､ אָמַ֗ר

’ā·mar,

he says ､

בְּכֹ֤חַ

bə·ḵō·aḥ

by the strength

יָדִי֙

yā·ḏî

of my hand

עָשִׂ֔יתִי

‘ā·śî·ṯî,

I have done [it]

– וּבְחָכְמָתִ֖י

ū·ḇə·ḥā·ḵə·mā·ṯî

and by my wisdom –

כִּ֣י

kî

– נְבֻנ֑וֹתִי

nə·ḇu·nō·w·ṯî;

I am prudent –

וְאָסִ֣יר ׀

wə·’ā·sîr

and I have removed

גְּבוּלֹ֣ת

gə·ḇū·lōṯ

､ עַמִּ֗ים

‘am·mîm,

of the people ､

[ועתידתיהם]

wa·‘ă·ṯî·ḏō·ṯê·hem

-

(וַעֲתוּדֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙)

wa·‘ă·ṯū·ḏō·w·ṯê·hem

and their treasuries

שׁוֹשֵׂ֔תִי

šō·w·śê·ṯî,

וְאוֹרִ֥יד

wə·’ō·w·rîḏ

so I have put down

כַּאבִּ֖יר

ka·bîr

like a mighty [man]

. יוֹשְׁבִֽים׃

yō·wō·šə·ḇîm.

the inhabitants .

וַתִּמְצָ֨א

wat·tim·ṣā

כַקֵּ֤ן ׀

ḵaq·qên

יָדִי֙

yā·ḏî

לְחֵ֣יל

lə·ḥêl

– הָֽעַמִּ֔ים

hā·‘am·mîm,

of the people –

וְכֶאֱסֹף֙

wə·ḵe·’ĕ·sōp̄

and as one gathers

בֵּיצִ֣ים

bê·ṣîm

､ עֲזֻב֔וֹת

‘ă·zu·ḇō·wṯ,

[that are] left ､

כָּל־

kāl-

– הָאָ֖רֶץ

hā·’ā·reṣ

the earth –

אֲנִ֣י

’ă·nî

I

אָסָ֑פְתִּי

’ā·sā·p̄ə·tî;

וְלֹ֤א

wə·lō

and no one

הָיָה֙

hā·yāh

נֹדֵ֣ד

nō·ḏêḏ

､ כָּנָ֔ף

kā·nāp̄,

[his] wing ､

וּפֹצֶ֥ה

ū·p̄ō·ṣeh

､ פֶ֖ה

p̄eh

[his] mouth ､

. וּמְצַפְצֵֽף׃

ū·mə·ṣap̄·ṣêp̄.

and with even a peep .

הֲיִתְפָּאֵר֙

hă·yiṯ·pā·’êr

Shall boast itself

הַגַּרְזֶ֔ן

hag·gar·zen,

the ax

עַ֖ל

‘al

הַחֹצֵ֣ב

ha·ḥō·ṣêḇ

בּ֑וֹ

bōw;

with it

אִם־

’im-

[Or] shall

יִתְגַּדֵּ֤ל

yiṯ·gad·dêl

הַמַּשּׂוֹר֙

ham·maś·śō·wr

the saw

עַל־

‘al-

מְנִיפ֔וֹ

mə·nî·p̄ōw,

him who saws with it

כְּהָנִ֥יף

kə·hā·nîp̄

as if could wield [itself] against

שֵׁ֙בֶט֙

šê·ḇeṭ

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

､ מְרִימָ֔יו

mə·rî·māw,

those who lift it up ､

כְּהָרִ֥ים

kə·hā·rîm

[Or] as if could lift up

מַטֶּ֖ה

maṭ·ṭeh

לֹא־

lō-

[as if it were] not

. עֵֽץ׃

‘êṣ.

לָ֠כֵן

lā·ḵên

יְשַׁלַּ֨ח

yə·šal·laḥ

will send

､ הָאָד֜וֹן

hā·’ā·ḏō·wn

the Lord ､

יְהוָ֧ה

Yah·weh

､ צְבָא֛וֹת

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ

of Hosts ､

בְּמִשְׁמַנָּ֖יו

bə·miš·man·nāw

among his fat ones

– רָז֑וֹן

rā·zō·wn;

וְתַ֧חַת

wə·ṯa·ḥaṯ

כְּבֹד֛וֹ

kə·ḇō·ḏōw

יֵקַ֥ד

yê·qaḏ

He will kindle

יְקֹ֖ד

yə·qōḏ

כִּיק֥וֹד

kî·qō·wḏ

Like the burning

. אֵֽשׁ׃

’êš.

of a fire .

וְהָיָ֤ה

wə·hā·yāh

So will be

אֽוֹר־

’ō·wr-

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙

yiś·rā·’êl

､ לְאֵ֔שׁ

lə·’êš,

for a fire ､

וּקְדוֹשׁ֖וֹ

ū·qə·ḏō·wō·šōw

and his Holy one

､ לְלֶהָבָ֑ה

lə·le·hā·ḇāh;

for a flame ､

וּבָעֲרָ֗ה

ū·ḇā·‘ă·rāh,

and it will burn

וְאָֽכְלָ֛ה

wə·’ā·ḵə·lāh

שִׁית֥וֹ

šî·ṯōw

וּשְׁמִיר֖וֹ

ū·šə·mî·rōw

– בְּי֥וֹם

bə·yō·wm

in day –

. אֶחָֽד׃

’e·ḥāḏ.

וּכְב֤וֹד

ū·ḵə·ḇō·wḏ

And the glory

､ יַעְרוֹ֙

ya‘·rōw

of his forest ､

､ וְכַרְמִלּ֔וֹ

wə·ḵar·mil·lōw,

and of his fruitful field ､

מִנֶּ֥פֶשׁ

min·ne·p̄eš

וְעַד־

wə·‘aḏ-

and to

､ בָּשָׂ֖ר

bā·śār

body ､

יְכַלֶּ֑ה

yə·ḵal·leh;

it will consume

וְהָיָ֖ה

wə·hā·yāh

and they will be

כִּמְסֹ֥ס

kim·sōs

as when wastes away

. נֹסֵֽס׃

nō·sês.

וּשְׁאָ֥ר

ū·šə·’ār

And the rest

עֵ֛ץ

‘êṣ

of the trees

יַעְר֖וֹ

ya‘·rōw

､ מִסְפָּ֣ר

mis·pār

so [few] in number ､

יִֽהְי֑וּ

yih·yū;

will be

וְנַ֖עַר

wə·na·‘ar

. יִכְתְּבֵֽם׃

yiḵ·tə·ḇêm.

may write them .

A Remnant of Israel Shall Return

וְהָיָ֣ה ׀

wə·hā·yāh

And it shall come to pass

､ בַּיּ֣וֹם

bay·yō·wm

in day ､

הַה֗וּא

ha·hū,

לֹֽא־

lō-

יוֹסִ֨יף

yō·w·sîp̄

will

ע֜וֹד

‘ō·wḏ

שְׁאָ֤ר

šə·’ār

[That] the remnant

､ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙

yiś·rā·’êl

of Israel ､

וּפְלֵיטַ֣ת

ū·p̄ə·lê·ṭaṯ

and such as have escaped

בֵּֽית־

bêṯ-

of the house

､ יַעֲקֹ֔ב

ya·‘ă·qōḇ,

of Jacob ､

לְהִשָּׁעֵ֖ן

lə·hiš·šā·‘ên

עַל־

‘al-

on

מַכֵּ֑הוּ

mak·kê·hū;

him who defeated them

וְנִשְׁעַ֗ן

wə·niš·‘an,

but will depend

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ יְהוָ֛ה

Yah·weh

קְד֥וֹשׁ

qə·ḏō·wōš

､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

yiś·rā·’êl

of Israel ､

. בֶּאֱמֶֽת׃

be·’ĕ·meṯ.

in truth .

שְׁאָ֥ר

､ יָשׁ֖וּב

yā·šūḇ

will return ､

שְׁאָ֣ר

šə·’ār

､ יַעֲקֹ֑ב

ya·‘ă·qōḇ;

of Jacob ､

אֶל־

’el-

to

אֵ֖ל

’êl

. גִּבּֽוֹר׃

gib·bō·wr.

the Mighty .

כִּ֣י

kî

אִם־

’im-

יִהְיֶ֞ה

yih·yeh

be

עַמְּךָ֤

‘am·mə·ḵā

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙

yiś·rā·’êl

כְּח֣וֹל

kə·ḥō·wl

as the sand

､ הַיָּ֔ם

hay·yām,

of the sea ､

שְׁאָ֖ר

šə·’ār

– יָשׁ֣וּב

yā·šūḇ

will return –

בּ֑וֹ

bōw;

כִּלָּי֥וֹן

kil·lā·yō·wn

the destruction

חָר֖וּץ

ḥā·rūṣ

שׁוֹטֵ֥ף

šō·w·ṭêp̄

shall overflow with

. צְדָקָֽה׃

ṣə·ḏā·qāh.

righteousness .

כִּ֥י

kî

､ כָלָ֖ה

ḵā·lāh

a end ､

､ וְנֶחֱרָצָ֑ה

wə·ne·ḥĕ·rā·ṣāh;

and determined ､

אֲדֹנָ֤י

’ă·ḏō·nāy

the Lord

יְהוִה֙

Yah·weh

צְבָא֔וֹת

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

עֹשֶׂ֖ה

‘ō·śeh

will make

בְּקֶ֥רֶב

bə·qe·reḇ

in the midst

כָּל־

kāl-

of all

. הָאָֽרֶץ׃

hā·’ā·reṣ.

the land .

כֹּֽה־

kōh-

אָמַ֞ר

’ā·mar

אֲדֹנָ֤י

’ă·ḏō·nāy

the Lord

יְהוִה֙

Yah·weh

､ צְבָא֔וֹת

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

of hosts ､

אַל־

’al-

not

תִּירָ֥א

tî·rā

do be afraid

עַמִּ֛י

‘am·mî

יֹשֵׁ֥ב

yō·šêḇ

､ צִיּ֖וֹן

ṣî·yō·wn

in Zion ､

מֵֽאַשּׁ֑וּר

mê·’aš·šūr;

､ בַּשֵּׁ֣בֶט

baš·šê·ḇeṭ

with a rod ､

יַכֶּ֔כָּה

yak·kek·kāh,

He shall strike you

וּמַטֵּ֥הוּ

ū·maṭ·ṭê·hū

יִשָּֽׂא־

yiś·śā-

עָלֶ֖יךָ

‘ā·le·ḵā

בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ

bə·ḏe·reḵ

in the manner

. מִצְרָֽיִם׃

miṣ·rā·yim.

of Egypt .

כִּי־

kî-

ע֖וֹד

‘ō·wḏ

מְעַ֣ט

mə·‘aṭ

מִזְעָ֑ר

miz·‘ār;

､ וְכָ֣לָה

wə·ḵā·lāh

and will cease ､

זַ֔עַם

za·‘am,

the indignation

וְאַפִּ֖י

wə·’ap·pî

and as will My anger

עַל־

‘al-

in

. תַּבְלִיתָֽם׃

taḇ·lî·ṯām.

their destruction .

וְעוֹרֵ֨ר

wə·‘ō·w·rêr

And will stir up

עָלָ֜יו

‘ā·lāw

יְהוָ֤ה

Yah·weh

צְבָאוֹת֙

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ

שׁ֔וֹט

šō·wṭ,

כְּמַכַּ֥ת

kə·mak·kaṯ

like the slaughter

מִדְיָ֖ן

miḏ·yān

בְּצ֣וּר

bə·ṣūr

at the rock

– עוֹרֵ֑ב

‘ō·w·rêḇ;

of Oreb –

וּמַטֵּ֙הוּ֙

ū·maṭ·ṭê·hū

and [as] His rod was

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ הַיָּ֔ם

hay·yām,

the sea ､

וּנְשָׂא֖וֹ

ū·nə·śā·’ōw

so will He lift it up

בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ

bə·ḏe·reḵ

in the manner

. מִצְרָֽיִם׃

miṣ·rā·yim.

of Egypt .

וְהָיָ֣ה ׀

wə·hā·yāh

And it shall come to pass

､ בַּיּ֣וֹם

bay·yō·wm

in day ､

הַה֗וּא

ha·hū,

יָס֤וּר

yā·sūr

will be taken away

סֻבֳּלוֹ֙

sub·bo·lōw

[That] his burden

מֵעַ֣ל

mê·‘al

､ שִׁכְמֶ֔ךָ

šiḵ·me·ḵā,

your shoulder ､

וְעֻלּ֖וֹ

wə·‘ul·lōw

מֵעַ֣ל

mê·‘al

､ צַוָּארֶ֑ךָ

ṣaw·wā·re·ḵā;

וְחֻבַּ֥ל

wə·ḥub·bal

and will be destroyed

עֹ֖ל

‘ōl

the yoke

מִפְּנֵי־

mip·pə·nê-

. שָֽׁמֶן׃

šā·men.

the [anointing] oil .

בָּ֥א

bā

עַל־

‘al-

to

､ עַיַּ֖ת

‘ay·yaṯ

עָבַ֣ר

‘ā·ḇar

– בְּמִגְר֑וֹן

bə·miḡ·rō·wn;

לְמִכְמָ֖שׂ

lə·miḵ·māś

יַפְקִ֥יד

yap̄·qîḏ

he has attended to

. כֵּלָֽיו׃

kê·lāw.

his equipment .

עָֽבְרוּ֙

‘ā·ḇə·rū

They have gone along

､ מַעְבָּרָ֔ה

ma‘·bā·rāh,

the ridge ､

– גֶּ֖בַע

ge·ḇa‘

at Geba –

מָל֣וֹן

mā·lō·wn

לָ֑נוּ

lā·nū;

they have taken up

– חָֽרְדָה֙

ḥā·rə·ḏāh

is afraid –

הָֽרָמָ֔ה

hā·rā·māh,

גִּבְעַ֥ת

giḇ·‘aṯ

שָׁא֖וּל

šā·’ūl

. נָֽסָה׃

nā·sāh.

צַהֲלִ֥י

ṣa·hă·lî

､ קוֹלֵ֖ךְ

qō·w·lêḵ

בַּת־

baṯ-

! גַּלִּ֑ים

gal·lîm;

הַקְשִׁ֥יבִי

haq·šî·ḇî

Cause it to be heard

､ לַ֖יְשָׁה

lay·šāh

as [far] as Laish ､

עֲנִיָּ֥ה

‘ă·nî·yāh

. עֲנָתֽוֹת׃

‘ă·nā·ṯō·wṯ.

– נָדְדָ֖ה

nā·ḏə·ḏāh

מַדְמֵנָ֑ה

maḏ·mê·nāh;

יֹשְׁבֵ֥י

yō·šə·ḇê

the inhabitants

הַגֵּבִ֖ים

hag·gê·ḇîm

. הֵעִֽיזוּ׃

hê·‘î·zū.

ע֥וֹד

‘ō·wḏ

As yet

– הַיּ֖וֹם

hay·yō·wm

בְּנֹ֣ב

bə·nōḇ

at Nob

לַֽעֲמֹ֑ד

la·‘ă·mōḏ;

he will remain

יְנֹפֵ֤ף

גִּבְעַ֖ת

giḇ·‘aṯ

the hill

. יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

yə·rū·šā·lim.

､ הִנֵּ֤ה

hin·nêh

､ הָאָדוֹן֙

hā·’ā·ḏō·wn

the Lord ､

יְהוָ֣ה

Yah·weh

､ צְבָא֔וֹת

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

of hosts ､

מְסָעֵ֥ף

mə·sā·‘êp̄

will lop off

פֻּארָ֖ה

pu·rāh

– בְּמַעֲרָצָ֑ה

bə·ma·‘ă·rā·ṣāh;

with terror –

וְרָמֵ֤י

wə·rā·mê

and Those of high

הַקּוֹמָה֙

haq·qō·w·māh

､ גְּדוּעִ֔ים

gə·ḏū·‘îm,

[will be] hewn down ､

וְהַגְּבֹהִ֖ים

wə·hag·gə·ḇō·hîm

and the high [ones]

. יִשְׁפָּֽלוּ׃

yiš·pā·lū.

will be humbled .

וְנִקַּ֛ף

wə·niq·qap̄

And He will cut down

סִֽבְכֵ֥י

siḇ·ḵê

הַיַּ֖עַר

hay·ya·‘ar

of the forest

､ בַּבַּרְזֶ֑ל

bab·bar·zel;

with iron ､

וְהַלְּבָנ֖וֹן

wə·hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn

בְּאַדִּ֥יר

bə·’ad·dîr

by the Mighty one

. יִפּֽוֹל׃

yip·pō·wl.

will fall .
