וַיָּקָם֩
way·yā·qām
And arose
יִשְׁמָעֵ֨אל
yiš·mā·‘êl
בֶּן־
ben-
､ נְתַנְיָ֜ה
nə·ṯan·yāh
of Nethaniah ､
וַעֲשֶׂ֥רֶת
wa·‘ă·śe·reṯ
and ten
הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים ׀
hā·’ă·nā·šîm
the men
אֲשֶׁר־
’ă·šer-
הָי֣וּ
hā·yū
אִתּ֗וֹ
’it·tōw,
with him
וַ֠יַּכּוּ
way·yak·kū
and struck
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
גְּדַלְיָ֨הוּ
gə·ḏal·yā·hū
בֶן־
ḇen-
אֲחִיקָ֧ם
’ă·ḥî·qām
בֶּן־
ben-
the son
שָׁפָ֛ן
šā·p̄ān
､ בַּחֶ֖רֶב
ba·ḥe·reḇ
with the sword ､
וַיָּ֣מֶת
way·yā·meṯ
and killed
אֹת֑וֹ
’ō·ṯōw;
אֲשֶׁר־
’ă·šer-
הִפְקִ֥יד
hip̄·qîḏ
מֶֽלֶךְ־
me·leḵ-
the king
בָּבֶ֖ל
bā·ḇel
. בָּאָֽרֶץ׃
bā·’ā·reṣ.
over the land .
