the Philistines ､
בְּטֶ֛רֶם
bə·ṭe·rem
יַכֶּ֥ה
yak·keh
פַרְעֹ֖ה

אֶת־
’eṯ-

. עַזָּֽה׃
‘az·zāh.

אָמַ֣ר

– יְהוָ֗ה
Yah·weh
Yahweh –
､ הִנֵּה־
hin·nêh-
behold ､
מַ֜יִם
ma·yim
עֹלִ֤ים
‘ō·lîm
､ מִצָּפוֹן֙
miṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn
out of the north ､
וְהָיוּ֙
wə·hā·yū
and shall be
､ לְנַ֣חַל
lə·na·ḥal
flood ､
שׁוֹטֵ֔ף
šō·w·ṭêp̄,
וְיִשְׁטְפוּ֙
wə·yiš·ṭə·p̄ū
､ אֶ֣רֶץ
’e·reṣ
the land ､
וּמְלוֹאָ֔הּ
ū·mə·lō·w·’āh,
and all that is in it
､ עִ֖יר
‘îr
the city ､
וְיֹ֣שְׁבֵי
wə·yō·šə·ḇê
בָ֑הּ
ḇāh;
､ וְזָֽעֲקוּ֙
wə·zā·‘ă·qū
and shall cry ､
הָֽאָדָ֔ם
hā·’ā·ḏām,
the men
. וְהֵילִ֕ל
wə·hê·lil
and shall wail .
כֹּ֖ל
kōl
יוֹשֵׁ֥ב
yō·wō·šêḇ
. הָאָֽרֶץ׃
hā·’ā·reṣ.
of the land .

מִקּ֗וֹל
miq·qō·wl,
At the noise
שַֽׁעֲטַת֙
ša·‘ă·ṭaṯ
of the stamping
פַּרְס֣וֹת
par·sō·wṯ
אַבִּירָ֔יו
’ab·bî·rāw,
מֵרַ֣עַשׁ
mê·ra·‘aš
at the rushing
､ לְרִכְבּ֔וֹ
lə·riḵ·bōw,
of his chariots ､
הֲמ֖וֹן
hă·mō·wn
[At] the rumbling
､ גַּלְגִּלָּ֑יו
gal·gil·lāw;
of his wheels ､
לֹֽא־
lō-
not
הִפְנ֤וּ
hip̄·nū
will look back
אָבוֹת֙
’ā·ḇō·wṯ
אֶל־
’el-
בָּנִ֔ים
bā·nîm,
מֵֽרִפְי֖וֹן
mê·rip̄·yō·wn
– יָדָֽיִם׃
yā·ḏā·yim.

the Philistines ､
לְהַכְרִ֤ית
lə·haḵ·rîṯ
to cut off
לְצֹר֙
lə·ṣōr
וּלְצִיד֔וֹן
ū·lə·ṣî·ḏō·wn,
and Sidon
כֹּ֖ל
kōl
– שָׂרִ֣יד
śā·rîḏ
עֹזֵ֑ר
‘ō·zêr;
כִּֽי־
kî-
שֹׁדֵ֤ד
šō·ḏêḏ
יְהוָה֙
Yah·weh
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים
pə·liš·tîm,
the Philistines ､
שְׁאֵרִ֖ית
šə·’ê·rîṯ
אִ֥י
’î
of the country
. כַפְתּֽוֹר׃
ḵap̄·tō·wr.
of Caphtor .

בָּ֤אָה
bā·’āh
קָרְחָה֙
qā·rə·ḥāh
אֶל־
’el-
– עַזָּ֔ה
‘az·zāh,
Gaza –
נִדְמְתָ֥ה
niḏ·mə·ṯāh
is cut off
אַשְׁקְל֖וֹן
’aš·qə·lō·wn
שְׁאֵרִ֣ית
šə·’ê·rîṯ
[with] the remnant
､ עִמְקָ֑ם
‘im·qām;
of their valley ､
עַד־
‘aḏ-
מָתַ֖י
mā·ṯay
؟ תִּתְגּוֹדָֽדִי׃
tiṯ·gō·w·ḏā·ḏî.
will you cut yourself ؟

עַד־

ṯiš·qō·ṭî;
הֵאָֽסְפִי֙
hê·’ā·sə·p̄î
אַל־
’al-
､ תַּעְרֵ֔ךְ
ta‘·rêḵ,
､ הֵרָגְעִ֖י
hê·rā·ḡə·‘î
Rest ､
. וָדֹֽמִּי׃
wā·ḏōm·mî.
and be still .

He has appointed it .
