וַיַּעַמְד֡וּ

הַמַּיִם֩
ham·ma·yim
the waters
הַיֹּרְדִ֨ים
hay·yō·rə·ḏîm
מִלְמַ֜עְלָה
mil·ma‘·lāh
קָ֣מוּ
qā·mū
[and] rose
נֵד־
nêḏ-
in heap
אֶחָ֗ד
’e·ḥāḏ,
a
הַרְחֵ֨ק
har·ḥêq
מְאֹ֜ד
mə·’ōḏ
[באדם]
ḇā·’ā·ḏām
(מֵֽאָדָ֤ם)
mê·’ā·ḏām
at Adam
הָעִיר֙
hā·‘îr
the city
אֲשֶׁר֙
’ă·šer
that [is]
מִצַּ֣ד
miṣ·ṣaḏ
– צָֽרְתָ֔ן
ṣā·rə·ṯān,
וְהַיֹּרְדִ֗ים
wə·hay·yō·rə·ḏîm,
עַ֣ל
‘al
יָ֧ם
yām
the Sea
､ הָעֲרָבָ֛ה
hā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh
of the Arabah ､
､ יָם־
yām-
Sea ､
הַמֶּ֖לַח
ham·me·laḥ
the Salt
､ תַּ֣מּוּ
tam·mū
failed ､
– נִכְרָ֑תוּ
niḵ·rā·ṯū;
[and] were cut off –
וְהָעָ֥ם
wə·hā·‘ām
and the people
עָבְר֖וּ
‘ā·ḇə·rū
נֶ֥גֶד
ne·ḡeḏ
. יְרִיחֽוֹ׃
yə·rî·ḥōw.
