to the fig tree ､

לְכִי־

to the vine ､

לְכִי־

[and] reign

the vine

､ הִלּוּלִ֑ים

hil·lū·lîm;

וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙

and they went into

בֵּ֣ית

､ אֱ‍ֽלֹֽהֵיהֶ֔ם

’ĕlō·hê·hem,

of their god ､

וַיֹּֽאכְלוּ֙

and ate

､ וַיִּשְׁתּ֔וּ

and drank ､

וַֽיְקַלְל֖וּ

､ כֵלָ֗יו

his armorbearer ､

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר

and said

שְׁלֹ֤ף

､ חַרְבְּךָ֙

ḥar·bə·ḵā

וּמ֣וֹתְתֵ֔נִי

and kill me

יֹ֥אמְרוּ

אִשָּׁ֣ה

הֲרָגָ֑תְהוּ

､ וַיִּדְקְרֵ֥הוּ

so thrust him through ､

נַעֲר֖וֹ

na·‘ă·rōw

. וַיָּמֹֽת׃

way·yā·mōṯ.

and he died .

וַיִּרְא֥וּ

the men

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

､ מֵ֣ת

and they departed

אַנְשֵׁ֣י

of the men

שְׁכֶ֔ם

הֵשִׁ֥יב

hê·šîḇ

אֱלֹהִ֖ים

’ĕ·lō·hîm

､ בְּרֹאשָׁ֑ם

bə·rō·šām;

on their own heads ､

וַתָּבֹ֣א

wat·tā·ḇō

and came

אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם

’ă·lê·hem,

קִֽלֲלַ֖ת

qi·lă·laṯ

יוֹתָ֥ם

yō·w·ṯām

בֶּן־

ben-

. יְרֻבָּֽעַל׃

yə·rub·bā·‘al.
