תַעֲשׂ֨וּ

לָכֶ֜ם

אֱלִילִ֗ם

’ĕ·lî·lim,

､ וּפֶ֤סֶל

ū·p̄e·sel

and neither a carved image ､

– וּמַצֵּבָה֙

ū·maṣ·ṣê·ḇāh

and a [sacred] pillar –

לֹֽא־

lō-

תָקִ֣ימוּ

ṯā·qî·mū

shall you rear up

לָכֶ֔ם

lā·ḵem,

וְאֶ֣בֶן

wə·’e·ḇen

and an stone

– מַשְׂכִּ֗ית

maś·kîṯ,

לֹ֤א

lō

תִתְּנוּ֙

ṯit·tə·nū

shall you set up

､ בְּאַרְצְכֶ֔ם

bə·’ar·ṣə·ḵem,

in your land ､

לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֖ת

lə·hiš·ta·ḥă·wōṯ

､ עָלֶ֑יהָ

‘ā·le·hā;

to it ､

כִּ֛י

kî

אֲנִ֥י

’ă·nî

I

יְהוָ֖ה

Yah·weh

. אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem.

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

שַׁבְּתֹתַ֣י

šab·bə·ṯō·ṯay

､ תִּשְׁמֹ֔רוּ

tiš·mō·rū,

You shall keep ､

וּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖י

ū·miq·dā·šî

and My sanctuary

. תִּירָ֑אוּ

tî·rā·’ū;

אֲנִ֖י

’ă·nî

I

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

[am] Yahweh .

If

בְּחֻקֹּתַ֖י

bə·ḥuq·qō·ṯay

､ תֵּלֵ֑כוּ

tê·lê·ḵū;

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

מִצְוֺתַ֣י

miṣ·wō·ṯay

My commandments

תִּשְׁמְר֔וּ

tiš·mə·rū,

וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם

wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem

､ אֹתָֽם׃

’ō·ṯām.

them ､

וְנָתַתִּ֥י

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

then I will give

גִשְׁמֵיכֶ֖ם

ḡiš·mê·ḵem

､ בְּעִתָּ֑ם

bə·‘it·tām;

in its season ､

וְנָתְנָ֤ה

wə·nā·ṯə·nāh

and shall yield

הָאָ֙רֶץ֙

hā·’ā·reṣ

the land

､ יְבוּלָ֔הּ

yə·ḇū·lāh,

its produce ､

וְעֵ֥ץ

wə·‘êṣ

and the trees

הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה

haś·śā·ḏeh

of the field

יִתֵּ֥ן

yit·tên

. פִּרְיֽוֹ׃

pir·yōw.

וְהִשִּׂ֨יג

wə·hiś·śîḡ

לָכֶ֥ם

lā·ḵem

דַּ֙יִשׁ֙

da·yiš

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ בָּצִ֔יר

bā·ṣîr,

till the time of vintage ､

וּבָצִ֖יר

ū·ḇā·ṣîr

and the vintage

יַשִּׂ֣יג

yaś·śîḡ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

. זָ֑רַע

zā·ra‘;

till the time of sowing .

וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֤ם

wa·’ă·ḵal·tem

And you shall eat

לַחְמְכֶם֙

laḥ·mə·ḵem

､ לָשֹׂ֔בַע

lā·śō·ḇa‘,

to the full ､

וִֽישַׁבְתֶּ֥ם

wî·šaḇ·tem

לָבֶ֖טַח

lā·ḇe·ṭaḥ

. בְּאַרְצְכֶֽם׃

bə·’ar·ṣə·ḵem.

וְנָתַתִּ֤י

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

And I will give

שָׁלוֹם֙

šā·lō·wm

､ בָּאָ֔רֶץ

bā·’ā·reṣ,

in the land ､

､ וּשְׁכַבְתֶּ֖ם

ū·šə·ḵaḇ·tem

and you shall lie down ､

וְאֵ֣ין

wə·’ên

and none

. מַחֲרִ֑יד

ma·ḥă·rîḏ;

will make [you] afraid .

וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֞י

wə·hiš·bat·tî

And I will rid

חַיָּ֤ה

ḥay·yāh

רָעָה֙

rā·‘āh

מִן־

min-

of

､ הָאָ֔רֶץ

hā·’ā·reṣ,

the land ､

וְחֶ֖רֶב

wə·ḥe·reḇ

and the sword

לֹא־

lō-

not

תַעֲבֹ֥ר

ṯa·‘ă·ḇōr

will go

. בְּאַרְצְכֶֽם׃

bə·’ar·ṣə·ḵem.

through your land .

וּרְדַפְתֶּ֖ם

ū·rə·ḏap̄·tem

And You will chase

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ אֹיְבֵיכֶ֑ם

’ō·yə·ḇê·ḵem;

your enemies ､

וְנָפְל֥וּ

wə·nā·p̄ə·lū

and they shall fall

לִפְנֵיכֶ֖ם

lip̄·nê·ḵem

. לֶחָֽרֶב‪‬

le·ḥā·reḇ

by the sword .

וְרָדְפ֨וּ

wə·rā·ḏə·p̄ū

And shall chase

מִכֶּ֤ם

mik·kem

of you

חֲמִשָּׁה֙

ḥă·miš·šāh

､ מֵאָ֔ה

mê·’āh,

וּמֵאָ֥ה

ū·mê·’āh

מִכֶּ֖ם

mik·kem

of you

רְבָבָ֣ה

rə·ḇā·ḇāh

– יִרְדֹּ֑פוּ

yir·dō·p̄ū;

shall put to flight –

וְנָפְל֧וּ

wə·nā·p̄ə·lū

אֹיְבֵיכֶ֛ם

’ō·yə·ḇê·ḵem

לִפְנֵיכֶ֖ם

lip̄·nê·ḵem

. לֶחָֽרֶב׃

le·ḥā·reḇ.

by the sword .

וּפָנִ֣יתִי

ū·p̄ā·nî·ṯî

For I will look favorably

､ אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם

’ă·lê·ḵem,

on you ､

וְהִפְרֵיתִ֣י

wə·hip̄·rê·ṯî

and make you fruitful

､ אֶתְכֶ֔ם

’eṯ·ḵem,

- ､

וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֖י

wə·hir·bê·ṯî

､ אֶתְכֶ֑ם

’eṯ·ḵem;

you ､

וַהֲקִימֹתִ֥י

wa·hă·qî·mō·ṯî

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

בְּרִיתִ֖י

bə·rî·ṯî

. אִתְּכֶֽם׃

’it·tə·ḵem.

with you .

וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֥ם

wa·’ă·ḵal·tem

And You shall eat

יָשָׁ֖ן

yā·šān

נוֹשָׁ֑ן

nō·wō·šān;

､ וְיָשָׁ֕ן

wə·yā·šān

kept ､

מִפְּנֵ֥י

mip·pə·nê

חָדָ֖שׁ

ḥā·ḏāš

of the new

. תּוֹצִֽיאוּ׃

tō·w·ṣî·’ū.

וְנָתַתִּ֥י

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

And I will set

מִשְׁכָּנִ֖י

miš·kā·nî

､ בְּתוֹכְכֶ֑ם

bə·ṯō·wḵ·ḵem;

וְלֹֽא־

wə·lō-

and not

תִגְעַ֥ל

ṯiḡ·‘al

נַפְשִׁ֖י

nap̄·šî

. אֶתְכֶֽם׃

’eṯ·ḵem.

וְהִתְהַלַּכְתִּי֙

wə·hiṯ·hal·laḵ·tî

And I will walk

בְּת֣וֹכְכֶ֔ם

bə·ṯō·wḵ·ḵem,

וְהָיִ֥יתִי

wə·hā·yî·ṯî

and be

לָכֶ֖ם

lā·ḵem

､ לֵֽאלֹהִ֑ים

lê·lō·hîm;

God ､

וְאַתֶּ֖ם

wə·’at·tem

and you

תִּהְיוּ־

tih·yū-

לִ֥י

lî

My

אֲנִ֞י

I

יְהוָ֣ה

Yah·weh

､ אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֗ם

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem,

אֲשֶׁ֨ר

’ă·šer

הוֹצֵ֤אתִי

hō·w·ṣê·ṯî

אֶתְכֶם֙

’eṯ·ḵem

מֵאֶ֣רֶץ

mê·’e·reṣ

out of the land

､ מִצְרַ֔יִם

miṣ·ra·yim,

of Egypt ､

מִֽהְיֹ֥ת

mih·yōṯ

that [you] should not be

לָהֶ֖ם

lā·hem

– עֲבָדִ֑ים

‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm;

וָאֶשְׁבֹּר֙

wā·’eš·bōr

and I have broken

מֹטֹ֣ת

mō·ṭōṯ

､ עֻלְּכֶ֔ם

‘ul·lə·ḵem,

of your yoke ､

וָאוֹלֵ֥ךְ

wā·’ō·w·lêḵ

and made you walk

אֶתְכֶ֖ם

’eṯ·ḵem

-

. קֽוֹמְמִיּֽוּת׃

qō·wm·mî·yūṯ.

הַמִּצְוֺ֖ת

､ הָאֵֽלֶּה׃

hā·’êl·leh.

וְאִם־

wə·’im-

and if

､ בְּחֻקֹּתַ֣י

bə·ḥuq·qō·ṯay

My statutes ､

תִּמְאָ֔סוּ

tim·’ā·sū,

וְאִ֥ם

wə·’im

or if

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

מִשְׁפָּטַ֖י

miš·pā·ṭay

תִּגְעַ֣ל

tiḡ·‘al

､ נַפְשְׁכֶ֑ם

nap̄·šə·ḵem;

לְבִלְתִּ֤י

lə·ḇil·tî

so that not

עֲשׂוֹת֙

‘ă·śō·wṯ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

כָּל־

kāl-

､ מִצְוֺתַ֔י

miṣ·wō·ṯay,

My commandments ､

לְהַפְרְכֶ֖ם

lə·hap̄·rə·ḵem

[but] break

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ בְּרִיתִֽי׃

bə·rî·ṯî.

My covenant ､

אַף־

’ap̄-

אֲנִ֞י

’ă·nî

I

אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־

’e·‘ĕ·śeh-

will do

זֹּ֣את

zōṯ

. לָכֶ֗ם

lā·ḵem,

to you .

וְהִפְקַדְתִּ֨י

wə·hip̄·qaḏ·tî

And even I will appoint

עֲלֵיכֶ֤ם

‘ă·lê·ḵem

､ בֶּֽהָלָה֙

be·hā·lāh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הַשַּׁחֶ֣פֶת

haš·ša·ḥe·p̄eṯ

wasting disease ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

הַקַּדַּ֔חַת

haq·qad·da·ḥaṯ,

מְכַלּ֥וֹת

mə·ḵal·lō·wṯ

which shall consume

､ עֵינַ֖יִם

‘ê·na·yim

the eyes ､

וּמְדִיבֹ֣ת

ū·mə·ḏî·ḇōṯ

and cause sorrow

– נָ֑פֶשׁ

nā·p̄eš;

of heart –

וּזְרַעְתֶּ֤ם

ū·zə·ra‘·tem

and you shall sow

､ לָרִיק֙

lā·rîq

in vain ､

זַרְעֲכֶ֔ם

zar·‘ă·ḵem,

וַאֲכָלֻ֖הוּ

wa·’ă·ḵā·lu·hū

for shall eat it

. אֹיְבֵיכֶֽם׃

’ō·yə·ḇê·ḵem.

וְנָתַתִּ֤י

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

And I will set

פָנַי֙

p̄ā·nay

､ בָּכֶ֔ם

bā·ḵem,

against you ､

וְנִגַּפְתֶּ֖ם

wə·nig·gap̄·tem

and you shall be defeated

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

by

. אֹיְבֵיכֶ֑ם

’ō·yə·ḇê·ḵem;

וְרָד֤וּ

wə·rā·ḏū

And shall reign

בָכֶם֙

ḇā·ḵem

､ שֹֽׂנְאֵיכֶ֔ם

śō·nə·’ê·ḵem,

Those who hate you ､

וְנַסְתֶּ֖ם

wə·nas·tem

and you shall flee

וְאֵין־

wə·’ên-

and when no one

רֹדֵ֥ף

rō·ḏêp̄

. אֶתְכֶֽם׃

’eṯ·ḵem.

And if

עַד־

‘aḏ-

אֵ֔לֶּה

’êl·leh,

לֹ֥א

not

תִשְׁמְע֖וּ

Me ､

וְיָסַפְתִּי֙

wə·yā·sap̄·tî

then I will more

לְיַסְּרָ֣ה

lə·yas·sə·rāh

אֶתְכֶ֔ם

’eṯ·ḵem,

שֶׁ֖בַע

še·ḇa‘

עַל־

‘al-

. חַטֹּאתֵיכֶֽם׃

ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯê·ḵem.

וְשָׁבַרְתִּ֖י

wə·šā·ḇar·tî

And I will break

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

גְּא֣וֹן

gə·’ō·wn

– עֻזְּכֶ֑ם

‘uz·zə·ḵem;

of your power –

וְנָתַתִּ֤י

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

and I will make

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

שְׁמֵיכֶם֙

šə·mê·ḵem

､ כַּבַּרְזֶ֔ל

kab·bar·zel,

וְאֶֽת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

אַרְצְכֶ֖ם

’ar·ṣə·ḵem

. כַּנְּחֻשָֽׁה׃

kan·nə·ḥu·šāh.

וְתַ֥ם

wə·ṯam

And shall be spent

לָרִ֖יק

lā·rîq

､ כֹּחֲכֶ֑ם

kō·ḥă·ḵem;

your strength ､

וְלֹֽא־

wə·lō-

and not

תִתֵּ֤ן

ṯit·tên

אַרְצְכֶם֙

’ar·ṣə·ḵem

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ יְבוּלָ֔הּ

yə·ḇū·lāh,

its produce ､

וְעֵ֣ץ

wə·‘êṣ

and the trees

הָאָ֔רֶץ

hā·’ā·reṣ,

of the land

לֹ֥א

lō

יִתֵּ֖ן

yit·tên

. פִּרְיֽוֹ׃

pir·yōw.

וְאִם־

wə·’im-

And if

תֵּֽלְכ֤וּ

tê·lə·ḵū

עִמִּי֙

‘im·mî

to Me

קֶ֔רִי

qe·rî,

וְלֹ֥א

wə·lō

and not

תֹאב֖וּ

ṯō·ḇū

לִשְׁמֹ֣עַֽ

liš·mō·a‘

לִ֑י

lî;

Me

וְיָסַפְתִּ֤י

wə·yā·sap̄·tî

and I will bring more

עֲלֵיכֶם֙

‘ă·lê·ḵem

on you

מַכָּ֔ה

mak·kāh,

שֶׁ֖בַע

še·ḇa‘

. כְּחַטֹּאתֵיכֶֽם׃

kə·ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯê·ḵem.

according to your sins .

וְהִשְׁלַחְתִּ֨י

wə·hiš·laḥ·tî

And I will send

בָכֶ֜ם

ḇā·ḵem

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

חַיַּ֤ת

ḥay·yaṯ

הַשָּׂדֶה֙

haś·śā·ḏeh

וְשִׁכְּלָ֣ה

wə·šik·kə·lāh

and which shall rob you

אֶתְכֶ֔ם

’eṯ·ḵem,

of your children

וְהִכְרִ֙יתָה֙

wə·hiḵ·rî·ṯāh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ בְּהֶמְתְּכֶ֔ם

bə·hem·tə·ḵem,

your livestock ､

וְהִמְעִ֖יטָה

wə·him·‘î·ṭāh

and make few in number

､ אֶתְכֶ֑ם

’eṯ·ḵem;

you ､

וְנָשַׁ֖מּוּ

wə·nā·šam·mū

and shall be desolate

. דַּרְכֵיכֶֽם׃

dar·ḵê·ḵem.

your highways .

וְאִ֨ם־

wə·’im-

And if

בְּאֵ֔לֶּה

bə·’êl·leh,

by these things

לֹ֥א

lō

not

תִוָּסְר֖וּ

ṯiw·wā·sə·rū

you are reformed

､ לִ֑י

lî;

by Me ､

וַהֲלַכְתֶּ֥ם

wa·hă·laḵ·tem

but walk

עִמִּ֖י

‘im·mî

to Me

､ קֶֽרִי׃

qe·rî.

וְהָלַכְתִּ֧י

wə·hā·laḵ·tî

אַף־

’ap̄-

אֲנִ֛י

’ă·nî

I

עִמָּכֶ֖ם

‘im·mā·ḵem

to you

､ בְּקֶ֑רִי

bə·qe·rî;

וְהִכֵּיתִ֤י

wə·hik·kê·ṯî

and will punish

､ אֶתְכֶם֙

’eṯ·ḵem

you ､

גַּם־

gam-

､ אָ֔נִי

’ā·nî,

I ､

שֶׁ֖בַע

še·ḇa‘

עַל־

‘al-

. חַטֹּאתֵיכֶֽם׃

ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯê·ḵem.

וְהֵבֵאתִ֨י

wə·hê·ḇê·ṯî

And I will bring

עֲלֵיכֶ֜ם

‘ă·lê·ḵem

חֶ֗רֶב

ḥe·reḇ,

נֹקֶ֙מֶת֙

nō·qe·meṯ

that will execute

נְקַם־

nə·qam-

– בְּרִ֔ית

bə·rîṯ,

of the covenant –

וְנֶאֱסַפְתֶּ֖ם

wə·ne·’ĕ·sap̄·tem

and when you are gathered together

אֶל־

’el-

､ עָרֵיכֶ֑ם

‘ā·rê·ḵem;

your cities ､

וְשִׁלַּ֤חְתִּי

wə·šil·laḥ·tî

and I will send

דֶ֙בֶר֙

ḏe·ḇer

､ בְּת֣וֹכְכֶ֔ם

bə·ṯō·wḵ·ḵem,

וְנִתַּתֶּ֖ם

wə·nit·tat·tem

and you shall be delivered

בְּיַד־

bə·yaḏ-

. אוֹיֵֽב׃

’ō·w·yêḇ.

of the enemy .

בְּשִׁבְרִ֣י

bə·šiḇ·rî

When I have cut off

לָכֶם֮

lā·ḵem

מַטֵּה־

maṭ·ṭêh-

､ לֶחֶם֒

le·ḥem

of bread ､

וְ֠אָפוּ

wə·’ā·p̄ū

עֶ֣שֶׂר

‘e·śer

נָשִׁ֤ים

nā·šîm

לַחְמְכֶם֙

laḥ·mə·ḵem

בְּתַנּ֣וּר

bə·ṯan·nūr

､ אֶחָ֔ד

’e·ḥāḏ,

one ､

וְהֵשִׁ֥יבוּ

wə·hê·šî·ḇū

and they shall bring back

לַחְמְכֶ֖ם

laḥ·mə·ḵem

– בַּמִּשְׁקָ֑ל

bam·miš·qāl;

by weight –

וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֖ם

wa·’ă·ḵal·tem

and you shall eat

וְלֹ֥א

wə·lō

and not

. תִשְׂבָּֽעוּ׃

ṯiś·bā·‘ū.

וְאִ֨ם־

wə·’im-

And if

בְּזֹ֔את

bə·zōṯ,

לֹ֥א

lō

not

תִשְׁמְע֖וּ

ṯiš·mə·‘ū

､ לִ֑י

lî;

Me ､

וַהֲלַכְתֶּ֥ם

wa·hă·laḵ·tem

but walk

עִמִּ֖י

‘im·mî

to Me

､ בְּקֶֽרִי׃

bə·qe·rî.

וְהָלַכְתִּ֥י

wə·hā·laḵ·tî

then also I will walk

עִמָּכֶ֖ם

‘im·mā·ḵem

to you

בַּחֲמַת־

ba·ḥă·maṯ-

､ קֶ֑רִי

qe·rî;

וְיִסַּרְתִּ֤י

wə·yis·sar·tî

and I will chastise

､ אֶתְכֶם֙

’eṯ·ḵem

you ､

אַף־

’ap̄-

､ אָ֔נִי

’ā·nî,

I ､

שֶׁ֖בַע

še·ḇa‘

עַל־

‘al-

. חַטֹּאתֵיכֶם׃‪‬

ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯê·ḵem

וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֖ם

wa·’ă·ḵal·tem

And You shall eat

בְּשַׂ֣ר

bə·śar

､ בְּנֵיכֶ֑ם

bə·nê·ḵem;

of your sons ､

וּבְשַׂ֥ר

ū·ḇə·śar

and the flesh

בְּנֹתֵיכֶ֖ם

bə·nō·ṯê·ḵem

of your daughters

. תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃

tō·ḵê·lū.

you shall eat .

וְהִשְׁמַדְתִּ֞י

wə·hiš·maḏ·tî

And I will destroy

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ בָּמֹֽתֵיכֶ֗ם

bā·mō·ṯê·ḵem,

your high places ､

וְהִכְרַתִּי֙

wə·hiḵ·rat·tî

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ חַמָּ֣נֵיכֶ֔ם

ḥam·mā·nê·ḵem,

your incense altars ､

וְנָֽתַתִּי֙

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

and cast

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

פִּגְרֵיכֶ֔ם

piḡ·rê·ḵem,

עַל־

‘al-

on

פִּגְרֵ֖י

piḡ·rê

the lifeless forms

､ גִּלּוּלֵיכֶ֑ם

gil·lū·lê·ḵem;

of your idols ､

וְגָעֲלָ֥ה

wə·ḡā·‘ă·lāh

and shall abhor

נַפְשִׁ֖י

nap̄·šî

. אֶתְכֶֽם׃

’eṯ·ḵem.

וְנָתַתִּ֤י

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

And I will lay

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

עָֽרֵיכֶם֙

‘ā·rê·ḵem

､ חָרְבָּ֔ה

ḥā·rə·bāh,

וַהֲשִׁמּוֹתִ֖י

wa·hă·šim·mō·w·ṯî

and bring to desolation

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ מִקְדְּשֵׁיכֶ֑ם

miq·də·šê·ḵem;

your sanctuaries ､

וְלֹ֣א

wə·lō

and not

אָרִ֔יחַ

’ā·rî·aḥ,

I will smell

בְּרֵ֖יחַ

bə·rê·aḥ

. נִיחֹֽחֲכֶֽם׃

of your sweet aromas .

וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֥י

wa·hă·šim·mō·ṯî

And will bring to desolation

אֲנִ֖י

’ă·nî

I

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הָאָ֑רֶץ

hā·’ā·reṣ;

the land ､

וְשָֽׁמְמ֤וּ

wə·šā·mə·mū

and shall be astonished

עָלֶ֙יהָ֙

‘ā·le·hā

at it

אֹֽיְבֵיכֶ֔ם

’ō·yə·ḇê·ḵem,

הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים

hay·yō·šə·ḇîm

. בָּֽהּ׃

bāh.

in it .

וְאֶתְכֶם֙

wə·’eṯ·ḵem

And you

אֱזָרֶ֣ה

’ĕ·zā·reh

I will scatter

､ בַגּוֹיִ֔ם

ḇag·gō·w·yim,

among the nations ､

וַהֲרִיקֹתִ֥י

wa·hă·rî·qō·ṯî

אַחֲרֵיכֶ֖ם

’a·ḥă·rê·ḵem

. חָ֑רֶב

ḥā·reḇ;

וְהָיְתָ֤ה

wə·hā·yə·ṯāh

And shall be

אַרְצְכֶם֙

’ar·ṣə·ḵem

､ שְׁמָמָ֔ה

šə·mā·māh,

וְעָרֵיכֶ֖ם

wə·‘ā·rê·ḵem

and your cities

יִהְי֥וּ

yih·yū

. חָרְבָּֽה׃

ḥā·rə·bāh.

אָז֩

’āz

תִּרְצֶ֨ה

tir·ṣeh

הָאָ֜רֶץ

hā·’ā·reṣ

the land

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ שַׁבְּתֹתֶ֗יהָ

šab·bə·ṯō·ṯe·hā,

its sabbaths ､

כֹּ֚ל

kōl

יְמֵ֣י

yə·mê

as long as

､ הֳשַׁמָּ֔ה

hoš·šam·māh,

it lies desolate ､

וְאַתֶּ֖ם

wə·’at·tem

and you [are]

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ

bə·’e·reṣ

– אֹיְבֵיכֶ֑ם

’ō·yə·ḇê·ḵem;

your enemies' –

אָ֚ז

’āz

､ תִּשְׁבַּ֣ת

tiš·baṯ

הָאָ֔רֶץ

hā·’ā·reṣ,

the land

וְהִרְצָ֖ת

wə·hir·ṣāṯ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

. שַׁבְּתֹתֶֽיהָ׃

šab·bə·ṯō·ṯe·hā.

כָּל־

kāl-

יְמֵ֥י

yə·mê

as long as

הָשַּׁמָּ֖ה

hāš·šam·māh

[it] lies desolate

תִּשְׁבֹּ֑ת

tiš·bōṯ;

､ אֵ֣ת

’êṯ

- ､

אֲשֶׁ֧ר

’ă·šer

לֹֽא־

lō-

not

שָׁבְתָ֛ה

šā·ḇə·ṯāh

the time it did rest

､ בְּשַׁבְּתֹתֵיכֶ֖ם

bə·šab·bə·ṯō·ṯê·ḵem

on your sabbaths ､

בְּשִׁבְתְּכֶ֥ם

bə·šiḇ·tə·ḵem

. עָלֶֽיהָ׃

‘ā·le·hā.

in it .

וְהַנִּשְׁאָרִ֣ים

wə·han·niš·’ā·rîm

And as for those who are left

בָּכֶ֔ם

bā·ḵem,

of you

וְהֵבֵ֤אתִי

wə·hê·ḇê·ṯî

and I will send

מֹ֙רֶךְ֙

mō·reḵ

בִּלְבָבָ֔ם

bil·ḇā·ḇām,

into their hearts

בְּאַרְצֹ֖ת

bə·’ar·ṣōṯ

in the lands

– אֹיְבֵיהֶ֑ם

’ō·yə·ḇê·hem;

of their enemies –

וְרָדַ֣ף

wə·rā·ḏap̄

and shall cause to flee

אֹתָ֗ם

’ō·ṯām,

ק֚וֹל

qō·wl

עָלֶ֣ה

‘ā·leh

of a leaf

､ נִדָּ֔ף

nid·dāp̄,

וְנָס֧וּ

wə·nā·sū

and they shall flee

מְנֻֽסַת־

mə·nu·saṯ-

as though fleeing from

､ חֶ֛רֶב

ḥe·reḇ

a sword ､

וְנָפְל֖וּ

wə·nā·p̄ə·lū

and they shall fall

וְאֵ֥ין

wə·’ên

and when no one

. רֹדֵֽף׃

rō·ḏêp̄.

וְכָשְׁל֧וּ

wə·ḵā·šə·lū

And they shall stumble

אִישׁ־

’îš-

､ בְּאָחִ֛יו

bə·’ā·ḥîw

over another ､

כְּמִפְּנֵי־

kə·mip·pə·nê-

as it were before

､ חֶ֖רֶב

ḥe·reḇ

a sword ､

וְרֹדֵ֣ף

wə·rō·ḏêp̄

and when pursues

– אָ֑יִן

’ā·yin;

no one –

וְלֹא־

wə·lō-

and no

תִֽהְיֶ֤ה

ṯih·yeh

לָכֶם֙

lā·ḵem

תְּקוּמָ֔ה

tə·qū·māh,

[power] to stand

לִפְנֵ֖י

lip̄·nê

. אֹֽיְבֵיכֶֽם׃

’ō·yə·ḇê·ḵem.

וַאֲבַדְתֶּ֖ם

wa·’ă·ḇaḏ·tem

And You shall perish

､ בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם

bag·gō·w·yim;

among the nations ､

וְאָכְלָ֣ה

wə·’ā·ḵə·lāh

and shall eat up

אֶתְכֶ֔ם

’eṯ·ḵem,

אֶ֖רֶץ

’e·reṣ

the land

. אֹיְבֵיכֶֽם׃

’ō·yə·ḇê·ḵem.

of your enemies .

וְהַנִּשְׁאָרִ֣ים

wə·han·niš·’ā·rîm

And those who are left

בָּכֶ֗ם

bā·ḵem,

of you

יִמַּ֙קּוּ֙

yim·maq·qū

shall waste away

בַּֽעֲוֺנָ֔ם

ba·‘ă·wō·nām,

in their iniquity

בְּאַרְצֹ֖ת

bə·’ar·ṣōṯ

– אֹיְבֵיכֶ֑ם

’ō·yə·ḇê·ḵem;

your enemies' –

וְאַ֛ף

wə·’ap̄

and also

בַּעֲוֺנֹ֥ת

ba·‘ă·wō·nōṯ

אֲבֹתָ֖ם

’ă·ḇō·ṯām

אִתָּ֥ם

’it·tām

which are with them

. יִמָּֽקּוּ׃

yim·māq·qū.

they shall waste away .

God Remembers Those who Repent

וְהִתְוַדּ֤וּ

wə·hiṯ·wad·dū

And [But] if they confess

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ עֲוֺנָם֙

‘ă·wō·nām

their iniquity ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

עֲוֺ֣ן

‘ă·wōn

､ אֲבֹתָ֔ם

’ă·ḇō·ṯām,

of their fathers ､

בְּמַעֲלָ֖ם

bə·ma·‘ă·lām

with their unfaithfulness

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

מָֽעֲלוּ־

mā·‘ă·lū-

they were unfaithful

בִ֑י

ḇî;

to Me

וְאַ֕ף

wə·’ap̄

and also

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

הָֽלְכ֥וּ

hā·lə·ḵū

they have walked

עִמִּ֖י

‘im·mî

to Me

､ בְּקֶֽרִי׃

bə·qe·rî.

אַף־

’ap̄-

and also

אֲנִ֗י

’ă·nî,

[that] I

אֵלֵ֤ךְ

’ê·lêḵ

עִמָּם֙

‘im·mām

､ בְּקֶ֔רִי

bə·qe·rî,

וְהֵבֵאתִ֣י

wə·hê·ḇê·ṯî

and have brought

אֹתָ֔ם

’ō·ṯām,

בְּאֶ֖רֶץ

bə·’e·reṣ

אֹיְבֵיהֶ֑ם

’ō·yə·ḇê·hem;

of their enemies

אוֹ־

’ōw-

if

אָ֣ז

’āz

יִכָּנַ֗ע

yik·kā·na‘,

לְבָבָם֙

lə·ḇā·ḇām

הֶֽעָרֵ֔ל

he·‘ā·rêl,

וְאָ֖ז

wə·’āz

יִרְצ֥וּ

yir·ṣū

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ עֲוֺנָֽם׃

‘ă·wō·nām.

their guilt ､

וְזָכַרְתִּ֖י

wə·zā·ḵar·tî

then I will remember

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

בְּרִיתִ֣י

bə·rî·ṯî

､ יַעֲק֑וֹב

ya·‘ă·qō·wḇ;

with Jacob ､

וְאַף֩

wə·’ap̄

and

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

בְּרִיתִ֨י

bə·rî·ṯî

､ יִצְחָ֜ק

yiṣ·ḥāq

with Isaac ､

וְאַ֨ף

wə·’ap̄

and

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

בְּרִיתִ֧י

bə·rî·ṯî

אַבְרָהָ֛ם

’aḇ·rā·hām

– אֶזְכֹּ֖ר

’ez·kōr

I will remember –

וְהָאָ֥רֶץ

wə·hā·’ā·reṣ

and the land

. אֶזְכֹּֽר׃

’ez·kōr.

I will remember .

וְהָאָרֶץ֩

wə·hā·’ā·reṣ

And the land

תֵּעָזֵ֨ב

tê·‘ā·zêḇ

shall be left empty

מֵהֶ֜ם

mê·hem

וְתִ֣רֶץ

wə·ṯi·reṣ

and will enjoy

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ שַׁבְּתֹתֶ֗יהָ

šab·bə·ṯō·ṯe·hā,

its sabbaths ､

בָּהְשַׁמָּה֙

bā·hə·šam·māh

while it lies desolate

. מֵהֶ֔ם

mê·hem,

וְהֵ֖ם

wə·hêm

And they

יִרְצ֣וּ

yir·ṣū

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ עֲוֺנָ֑ם

‘ă·wō·nām;

their guilt ､

יַ֣עַן

ya·‘an

וּבְיַ֔עַן

ū·ḇə·ya·‘an,

בְּמִשְׁפָּטַ֣י

bə·miš·pā·ṭay

､ מָאָ֔סוּ

mā·’ā·sū,

they despised ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

חֻקֹּתַ֖י

ḥuq·qō·ṯay

גָּעֲלָ֥ה

gā·‘ă·lāh

. נַפְשָֽׁם׃

nap̄·šām.

וְאַף־

wə·’ap̄-

And yet

גַּם־

gam-

､ זֹ֠את

zōṯ

[all] this ､

בִּֽהְיוֹתָ֞ם

bih·yō·w·ṯām

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ

bə·’e·reṣ

in the land

､ אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֗ם

’ō·yə·ḇê·hem,

of their enemies ､

לֹֽא־

lō-

not

､ מְאַסְתִּ֤ים

mə·’as·tîm

I will cast them away ､

וְלֹֽא־

wə·lō-

גְעַלְתִּים֙

ḡə·‘al·tîm

shall I abhor them

､ לְכַלֹּתָ֔ם

lə·ḵal·lō·ṯām,

to utterly destroy them ､

לְהָפֵ֥ר

lə·hā·p̄êr

בְּרִיתִ֖י

bə·rî·ṯî

. אִתָּ֑ם

’it·tām;

with them .

כִּ֛י

kî

אֲנִ֥י

’ă·nî

I

יְהוָ֖ה

Yah·weh

. אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃

’ĕ·lō·hê·hem.

וְזָכַרְתִּ֥י

wə·zā·ḵar·tî

But I will remember

לָהֶ֖ם

lā·hem

בְּרִ֣ית

bə·rîṯ

､ רִאשֹׁנִ֑ים

ri·šō·nîm;

of their ancestors ､

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

הוֹצֵֽאתִי־

hō·w·ṣê·ṯî-

אֹתָם֩

’ō·ṯām

-

מֵאֶ֨רֶץ

mê·’e·reṣ

out of the land

מִצְרַ֜יִם

miṣ·ra·yim

לְעֵינֵ֣י

lə·‘ê·nê

in the sight

､ הַגּוֹיִ֗ם

hag·gō·w·yim,

of the nations ､

לִהְיֹ֥ת

lih·yōṯ

that I might be

לָהֶ֛ם

lā·hem

– לֵאלֹהִ֖ים

lê·lō·hîm

God –

אֲנִ֥י

’ă·nî

I

. יְהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

[am] Yahweh .

אֵ֠לֶּה

’êl·leh

הַֽחֻקִּ֣ים

ha·ḥuq·qîm

וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִים֮

wə·ham·miš·pā·ṭîm

､ וְהַתּוֹרֹת֒

wə·hat·tō·w·rōṯ

and laws ､

אֲשֶׁר֙

’ă·šer

נָתַ֣ן

nā·ṯan

יְהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

בֵּינ֕וֹ

bê·nōw

between Himself

וּבֵ֖ין

ū·ḇên

and

בְּנֵ֣י

bə·nê

the sons

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

yiś·rā·’êl;

בְּהַ֥ר

bə·har

､ סִינַ֖י

sî·nay

בְּיַד־

bə·yaḏ-

by the hand

. מֹשֶֽׁה׃

mō·šeh.
