וַתֵּ֤רֶא
wat·tê·re
And when saw
הָֽאָתוֹן֙
hā·’ā·ṯō·wn
the donkey
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
מַלְאַ֣ךְ
mal·’aḵ
the Angel
､ יְהוָ֔ה
Yah·weh,
of Yahweh ､
וַתִּרְבַּ֖ץ
wat·tir·baṣ
תַּ֣חַת
ta·ḥaṯ
– בִּלְעָ֑ם
bil·‘ām;
Balaam –
､ וַיִּֽחַר־
way·yi·ḥar-
so was aroused ､
אַ֣ף
’ap̄
בִּלְעָ֔ם
bil·‘ām,
וַיַּ֥ךְ
way·yaḵ
and he struck
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הָאָת֖וֹן
hā·’ā·ṯō·wn
the donkey
. בַּמַּקֵּֽל׃
bam·maq·qêl.
with his staff .
