I Will Give Thanks with My Whole Heart

A Psalm of David .
אוֹדְךָ֥
’ō·wḏ·ḵā
I will praise You
בְכָל־
ḇə·ḵāl-
with whole
– לִבִּ֑י
lib·bî;
my heart –
נֶ֖גֶד
ne·ḡeḏ
אֱלֹהִ֣ים
’ĕ·lō·hîm
the gods
. אֲזַמְּרֶֽךָּ׃
’ă·zam·mə·re·kā.
I will sing praises to You .

אֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֨ה
’eš·ta·ḥă·weh
I will worship
אֶל־
’el-
､ הֵיכַ֪ל
hê·ḵal
temple ､
קָדְשְׁךָ֡
qāḏ·šə·ḵā
וְא֘וֹדֶ֤ה
wə·’ō·w·ḏeh
and praise
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
שְׁמֶ֗ךָ
šə·me·ḵā,
עַל־
‘al-
חַסְדְּךָ֥
ḥas·də·ḵā
וְעַל־
wə·‘al-
and
– אֲמִתֶּ֑ךָ
’ă·mit·te·ḵā;
כִּֽי־
kî-
הִגְדַּ֥לְתָּ
hiḡ·dal·tā
עַל־
‘al-
כָּל־
kā·lō·ši-
､ שִׁ֝מְךָ֗
mə·ḵā,
. אִמְרָתֶֽךָ׃
’im·rā·ṯe·ḵā.

בְּי֣וֹם
bə·yō·wm
In the day
קָ֭רָֽאתִי
qā·rā·ṯî
וַֽתַּעֲנֵ֑נִי
wat·ta·‘ă·nê·nî;
and You answered me
תַּרְהִבֵ֖נִי
tar·hi·ḇê·nî
[And] made me bold
בְנַפְשִׁ֣י
ḇə·nap̄·šî
in my soul
. עֹֽז׃
‘ōz.
[with] strength .

יוֹד֣וּךָ
yō·w·ḏū·ḵā
､ יְ֭הוָה
Yah·weh
Yahweh ､
כָּל־
kāl-
מַלְכֵי־
mal·ḵê-
the kings
אָ֑רֶץ
’ā·reṣ;
of the earth
כִּ֥י
kî
שָׁ֝מְע֗וּ
mə·‘ū,
אִמְרֵי־
’im·rê-
the words
. פִֽיךָ׃
p̄î·ḵā.
of Your mouth .

וְ֭יָשִׁירוּ
wə·yā·šî·rū
בְּדַרְכֵ֣י
bə·ḏar·ḵê
of the ways
､ יְהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
of Yahweh ､
כִּ֥י
kî
גָ֝ד֗וֹל
ḡā·ḏō·wl,
great [is]
כְּב֣וֹד
kə·ḇō·wḏ
the glory
. יְהוָֽה׃
Yah·weh.
of Yahweh .

כִּי־
kî-
､ רָ֣ם
rām
on high ､
､ יְ֭הוָה
Yah·weh
Yahweh [is] ､
וְשָׁפָ֣ל
wə·šā·p̄āl
and yet the lowly
יִרְאֶ֑ה
yir·’eh;
וְ֝גָבֹ֗הַּ
wə·ḡā·ḇō·ah,
but the high [one]
מִמֶּרְחָ֥ק
mim·mer·ḥāq
. יְיֵדָֽע׃
yə·yê·ḏā‘.
He knows .

אִם־
’im-
אֵלֵ֤ךְ ׀
’ê·lêḵ
בְּקֶ֥רֶב
bə·qe·reḇ
in the midst
､ צָרָ֗ה
ṣā·rāh,
of trouble ､
תְּחַ֫יֵּ֥נִי
tə·ḥay·yê·nî
You will revive me
עַ֤ל
‘al
אַ֣ף
’ap̄
the wrath
､ אֹ֭יְבַי
’ō·yə·ḇay
of my enemies ､
תִּשְׁלַ֣ח
tiš·laḥ
יָדֶ֑ךָ
yā·ḏe·ḵā;
וְת֖וֹשִׁיעֵ֣נִי
wə·ṯō·wō·šî·‘ê·nî
and will save me
. יְמִינֶֽךָ׃
yə·mî·ne·ḵā.

יְהוָה֮
Yah·weh
יִגְמֹ֪ר
yiḡ·mōr
will perfect
בַּ֫עֲדִ֥י
ba·‘ă·ḏî
､ יְ֭הוָה
Yah·weh
Yahweh ､
､ חַסְדְּךָ֣
ḥas·də·ḵā
– לְעוֹלָ֑ם
lə·‘ō·w·lām;
מַעֲשֵׂ֖י
ma·‘ă·śê
the works
יָדֶ֣יךָ
yā·ḏe·ḵā
אַל־
’al-
not
. תֶּֽרֶף׃
te·rep̄.
do forsake .
