Praise the Lord From the Heavens!

הַ֥לְלוּ

הַֽלְל֣וּ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

יְ֭הוָה

Yah·weh

מִן־

min-

– הַשָּׁמַ֑יִם

haš·šā·ma·yim;

the heavens –

הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ

hal·lū·hū,

. בַּמְּרוֹמִֽים׃

bam·mə·rō·w·mîm.

in the heights .

הַֽלְל֥וּהוּ

hal·lū·hū

כָל־

ḵāl

– מַלְאָכָ֑יו

mal·’ā·ḵāw;

הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ

hal·lū·hū,

כָּל־

kāl-

[צבאו]

ṣə·ḇā·’ōw

-

. (צְבָאָֽיו׃)

ṣə·ḇā·’āw.

הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ

hal·lū·hū

שֶׁ֣מֶשׁ

še·meš

– וְיָרֵ֑חַ

wə·yā·rê·aḥ;

and moon –

הַ֝לְל֗וּהוּ

hal·lū·hū,

כָּל־

kāl-

כּ֥וֹכְבֵי

kō·wḵ·ḇê

. אֽוֹר׃

’ō·wr.

of light .

הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ

hal·lū·hū

שְׁמֵ֣י

šə·mê

､ הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם

haš·šā·mā·yim;

of heavens ､

וְ֝הַמַּ֗יִם

wə·ham·ma·yim,

אֲשֶׁ֤ר ׀

’ă·šer

-

מֵעַ֬ל

mê·‘al

. הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

haš·šā·mā·yim.

יְֽ֭הַֽלְלוּ

yə·hal·lū

Let them praise

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

שֵׁ֣ם

šêm

the name

､ יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

of Yahweh ､

כִּ֤י

kî

ה֭וּא

hū

He

､ צִוָּ֣ה

ṣiw·wāh

. וְנִבְרָֽאוּ׃

wə·niḇ·rā·’ū.

and they were created .

וַיַּעֲמִידֵ֣ם

way·ya·‘ă·mî·ḏêm

And He established them

לָעַ֣ד

lā·‘aḏ

– לְעוֹלָ֑ם

lə·‘ō·w·lām;

and ever –

חָק־

ḥāq-

נָ֝תַ֗ן

nā·ṯan,

וְלֹ֣א

wə·lō

and not

. יַעֲבֽוֹר׃

ya·‘ă·ḇō·wr.

which shall pass away .

הַֽלְל֣וּ

hal·lū

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

יְ֭הוָה

Yah·weh

מִן־

min-

､ הָאָ֑רֶץ

hā·’ā·reṣ;

the earth ､

､ תַּ֝נִּינִ֗ים

tan·nî·nîm,

[great] sea creatures ､

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

– תְּהֹמֽוֹת׃

tə·hō·mō·wṯ.

the depths –

､ אֵ֣שׁ

’êš

Fire ､

– וּ֭בָרָד

ū·ḇā·rāḏ

and hail –

､ שֶׁ֣לֶג

še·leḡ

snow ､

– וְקִיט֑וֹר

wə·qî·ṭō·wr;

and clouds –

ר֥וּחַ

rū·aḥ

סְ֝עָרָ֗ה

sə·‘ā·rāh,

עֹשָׂ֥ה

‘ō·śāh

– דְבָרֽוֹ׃

ḏə·ḇā·rōw.

､ הֶהָרִ֥ים

he·hā·rîm

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

– גְּבָע֑וֹת

gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ;

､ עֵ֥ץ

‘êṣ

פְּ֝רִ֗י

pə·rî,

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

– אֲרָזִֽים׃

’ă·rā·zîm.

､ הַֽחַיָּ֥ה

ha·ḥay·yāh

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

– בְּהֵמָ֑ה

bə·hê·māh;

､ רֶ֝֗מֶשׂ

re·meś,

Creeping things ､

– וְצִפּ֥וֹר

wə·ṣip·pō·wr

and fowl –

. כָּנָֽף׃

kā·nāp̄.

מַלְכֵי־

mal·ḵê-

､ אֶ֭רֶץ

’e·reṣ

of the earth ､

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

– לְאֻמִּ֑ים

lə·’um·mîm;

､ שָׂ֝רִ֗ים

rîm,

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and all

שֹׁ֥פְטֵי

šō·p̄ə·ṭê

– אָֽרֶץ׃

’ā·reṣ.

of the earth –

､ בַּחוּרִ֥ים

ba·ḥū·rîm

וְגַם־

wə·ḡam-

and both

– בְּתוּל֑וֹת

bə·ṯū·lō·wṯ;

､ זְ֝קֵנִ֗ים

zə·qê·nîm,

עִם־

‘im-

and

. נְעָרִֽים׃

nə·‘ā·rîm.

יְהַלְל֤וּ ׀

yə·hal·lū

Let them praise

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

שֵׁ֬ם

the name

､ יְהוָ֗ה

Yah·weh

of Yahweh ､

כִּֽי־

kî-

– נִשְׂגָּ֣ב

niś·gāḇ

שְׁמ֣וֹ

šə·mōw

לְבַדּ֑וֹ

lə·ḇad·dōw;

ה֝וֹד֗וֹ

hō·w·ḏōw,

עַל־

‘al-

אֶ֥רֶץ

’e·reṣ

. וְשָׁמָֽיִם׃

wə·šā·mā·yim.

and heaven .

וַיָּ֤רֶם

way·yā·rem

And He has exalted

קֶ֨רֶן ׀

qe·ren

the horn

､ לְעַמּ֡וֹ

lə·‘am·mōw

of His people ､

תְּהִלָּ֤ה

tə·hil·lāh

לְֽכָל־

lə·ḵāl

of all

– חֲסִידָ֗יו

ḥă·sî·ḏāw,

לִבְנֵ֣י

liḇ·nê

of the sons

､ יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל

yiś·rā·’êl

of Israel ､

עַֽם־

‘am-

קְרֹב֗וֹ

qə·rō·ḇōw,

הַֽלְלוּ־

hal·lū-

. יָֽהּ׃

yāh.
