רַנְּנ֣וּ

– צַ֭דִּיקִים
ṣad·dî·qîm
､ בַּֽיהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
in Yahweh ､
לַ֝יְשָׁרִ֗ים
lay·šā·rîm,
נָאוָ֥ה
nā·wāh
. תְהִלָּֽה׃
ṯə·hil·lāh.

הוֹד֣וּ
hō·w·ḏū
לַיהוָ֣ה
Yah·weh
– בְּכִנּ֑וֹר
bə·ḵin·nō·wr;
with the harp –
בְּנֵ֥בֶל
bə·nê·ḇel
with an instrument
עָ֝שׂ֗וֹר
‘ā·śō·wr,
זַמְּרוּ־
zam·mə·rū-
. לֽוֹ׃
lōw.
to Him .

שִֽׁירוּ־
šî·rū-
ל֭וֹ
lōw
to Him
– שִׁ֣יר
šîr
a song –
חָדָ֑שׁ
ḥā·ḏāš;
הֵיטִ֥יבוּ
hê·ṭî·ḇū
נַ֝גֵּ֗ן
nag·gên,
. בִּתְרוּעָֽה׃
biṯ·rū·‘āh.
with a shout of [joy] .

כִּֽי־

– יָשָׁ֥ר

[is] right –
דְּבַר־
də·ḇar-
the word
יְהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
and all
מַ֝עֲשֵׂ֗הוּ
ma·‘ă·śê·hū,
. בֶּאֱמוּנָֽה׃
be·’ĕ·mū·nāh.
in truth .

אֹ֭הֵב
’ō·hêḇ
צְדָקָ֣ה
ṣə·ḏā·qāh
– וּמִשְׁפָּ֑ט
ū·miš·pāṭ;
and justice –
חֶ֥סֶד
ḥe·seḏ
יְ֝הוָ֗ה
Yah·weh
מָלְאָ֥ה
mā·lə·’āh
is full
. הָאָֽרֶץ׃
hā·’ā·reṣ.
of the earth .

בִּדְבַ֣ר
biḏ·ḇar
By the word
יְ֭הוָה
Yah·weh
שָׁמַ֣יִם
šā·ma·yim
– נַעֲשׂ֑וּ
na·‘ă·śū;
וּבְר֥וּחַ
ū·ḇə·rū·aḥ
and by the breath
פִּ֝֗יו
pîw,
כָּל־
kāl-
. צְבָאָֽם׃
ṣə·ḇā·’ām.
the host of them .

כֹּנֵ֣ס
kō·nês
– כַּ֭נֵּד
kan·nêḏ
as a heap –
מֵ֣י
mê
the waters
הַיָּ֑ם
hay·yām;
of the sea
נֹתֵ֖ן
nō·ṯên
He lays up
בְּאֹצָר֣וֹת
bə·’ō·ṣā·rō·wṯ
. תְּהוֹמֽוֹת׃
tə·hō·w·mō·wṯ.
the deep .

מֵ֭יְהוָה

כָּל־

הָאָ֑רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ;
the earth
מִמֶּ֥נּוּ
mim·men·nū
of Him
יָ֝ג֗וּרוּ
yā·ḡū·rū,
כָּל־
kāl-
יֹשְׁבֵ֥י
yō·šə·ḇê
. תֵבֵֽל׃
ṯê·ḇêl.
of the world .

כִּ֤י
kî
ה֣וּא
hū
He
､ אָמַ֣ר
’ā·mar
spoke ､
וַיֶּ֑הִי
way·ye·hî;
and it was [done]
הֽוּא־
hū-
He
､ צִ֝וָּ֗ה
ṣiw·wāh,
. וַֽיַּעֲמֹֽד׃
way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ.
and it stood fast .

Yah·weh
– הֵפִ֥יר

עֲצַת־
‘ă·ṣaṯ-
גּוֹיִ֑ם
gō·w·yim;
of the nations
הֵ֝נִ֗יא
hê·nî,
He makes of no effect
מַחְשְׁב֥וֹת
maḥ·šə·ḇō·wṯ
the plans
. עַמִּֽים׃
‘am·mîm.
of the peoples .

‘ă·ṣaṯ
יְ֭הוָה
Yah·weh
､ לְעוֹלָ֣ם
lə·‘ō·w·lām
תַּעֲמֹ֑ד
ta·‘ă·mōḏ;
מַחְשְׁב֥וֹת
maḥ·šə·ḇō·wṯ
the plans
לִ֝בּ֗וֹ
lib·bōw,
לְדֹ֣ר
lə·ḏōr
to all
. וָדֹֽר׃
wā·ḏōr.

אַשְׁרֵ֣י
’aš·rê
Blessed [is]
הַ֭גּוֹי

the nation
אֲשֶׁר־
’ă·šer-
– יְהוָ֣ה
Yah·weh
Yahweh –
אֱלֹהָ֑יו
’ĕ·lō·hāw;
God [is]
הָעָ֓ם ׀
hā·‘ām
the people
בָּחַ֖ר

לְנַחֲלָ֣ה
lə·na·ḥă·lāh

. מַעֲשֵׂיהֶֽם׃

[is] saved
בְּרָב־
bə·rāḇ-
by the multitude
– חָ֑יִל

of an army –
גִּ֝בּ֗וֹר
gib·bō·wr,
לֹֽא־

not
יִנָּצֵ֥ל
yin·nā·ṣêl
בְּרָב־
bə·rāḇ-
. כֹּֽחַ׃

שֶׁ֣קֶר

a horse [is]
– לִתְשׁוּעָ֑ה

וּבְרֹ֥ב

and by great
חֵ֝יל֗וֹ
ḥê·lōw,
לֹ֣א

. יְמַלֵּֽט׃
yə·mal·lêṭ.

､ הִנֵּ֤ה
hin·nêh
Behold ､
עֵ֣ין
‘ên
the eye
יְ֭הוָה
Yah·weh
אֶל־
’el-
[is] on
יְרֵאָ֑יו
yə·rê·’āw;
לַֽמְיַחֲלִ֥ים
lam·ya·ḥă·lîm
– לְחַסְדּֽוֹ׃
lə·ḥas·dōw.
in His mercy –

לְהַצִּ֣יל
lə·haṣ·ṣîl
､ מִמָּ֣וֶת
mim·mā·weṯ
נַפְשָׁ֑ם
nap̄·šām;
וּ֝לְחַיּוֹתָ֗ם
ū·lə·ḥay·yō·w·ṯām,
and to keep them alive
. בָּרָעָֽב׃
bā·rā·‘āḇ.
in famine .

נַ֭פְשֵׁנוּ
nap̄·šê·nū
חִכְּתָ֣ה
ḥik·kə·ṯāh
– לַֽיהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
עֶזְרֵ֖נוּ
‘ez·rê·nū
וּמָגִנֵּ֣נוּ
ū·mā·ḡin·nê·nū
. הֽוּא׃
hū.
He [is] .

יִשְׂמַ֣ח

לִבֵּ֑נוּ

Let be
､ חַסְדְּךָ֣

mercy ､
､ יְהוָ֣ה

Yahweh ､
עָלֵ֑ינוּ

upon us
כַּ֝אֲשֶׁ֗ר

יִחַ֥לְנוּ

we hope
