לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ

lam·naṣ·ṣê·aḥ

､ עֵד֖וּת

‘ê·ḏūṯ

a Testimony ､

. לְאָסָ֣ף

lə·’ā·sāp̄

of Asaph .

מִזְמֽוֹר׃

miz·mō·wr.

רֹ֘עֵ֤ה

rō·‘êh

､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל ׀

yiś·rā·’êl

of Israel ､

､ הַאֲזִ֗ינָה

ha·’ă·zî·nāh,

נֹהֵ֣ג

nō·hêḡ

– כַּצֹּ֣אן

kaṣ·ṣōn

like a flock –

יוֹסֵ֑ף

yō·w·sêp̄;

יֹשֵׁ֖ב

yō·šêḇ

､ הַכְּרוּבִ֣ים

hak·kə·rū·ḇîm

the [between] cherubim ､

. הוֹפִֽיעָה׃

hō·w·p̄î·‘āh.

לִפְנֵ֤י

lip̄·nê

אֶפְרַ֨יִם ׀

’ep̄·ra·yim

וּבִנְיָ֘מִ֤ן

ū·ḇin·yā·min

וּמְנַשֶּׁ֗ה

ū·mə·naš·šeh,

עוֹרְרָ֥ה

‘ō·wr·rāh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ גְּבֽוּרָתֶ֑ךָ

gə·ḇū·rā·ṯe·ḵā;

Your strength ､

וּלְכָ֖ה

ū·lə·ḵāh

and come

לִישֻׁעָ֣תָה

lî·šu·‘ā·ṯāh

[and] save

. לָּֽנוּ׃

lā·nū.

us .

､ אֱלֹהִ֥ים

’ĕ·lō·hîm

God ､

､ הֲשִׁיבֵ֑נוּ

hă·šî·ḇê·nū;

Restore us ､

– וְהָאֵ֥ר

wə·hā·’êr

and Cause to shine –

פָּ֝נֶ֗יךָ

pā·ne·ḵā,

. וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעָה׃

wə·niw·wā·šê·‘āh.

and we shall be saved .

יְהוָ֣ה

Yah·weh

אֱלֹהִ֣ים

’ĕ·lō·hîm

､ צְבָא֑וֹת

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ;

of hosts ､

עַד־

‘aḏ-

מָתַ֥י

mā·ṯay

עָ֝שַׁ֗נְתָּ

‘ā·šan·tā,

will You be angry

בִּתְפִלַּ֥ת

biṯ·p̄il·laṯ

Against the prayer

؟ עַמֶּֽךָ׃

‘am·me·ḵā.

of Your people ؟

הֶ֭אֱכַלְתָּם

he·’ĕ·ḵal·tām

You have fed them

לֶ֣חֶם

le·ḥem

with the bread

– דִּמְעָ֑ה

dim·‘āh;

of tears –

וַ֝תַּשְׁקֵ֗מוֹ

wat·taš·qê·mōw,

and given them to drink

בִּדְמָע֥וֹת

biḏ·mā·‘ō·wṯ

. שָׁלִֽישׁ׃

šā·lîš.

in [great] measure .

תְּשִׂימֵ֣נוּ

tə·śî·mê·nū

You have made us

מָ֭דוֹן

mā·ḏō·wn

､ לִשְׁכֵנֵ֑ינוּ

liš·ḵê·nê·nū;

to our neighbors ､

וְ֝אֹיְבֵ֗ינוּ

wə·’ō·yə·ḇê·nū,

and our enemies

יִלְעֲגוּ־

yil·‘ă·ḡū-

. לָֽמוֹ׃

lā·mōw.

among themselves .

אֱלֹהִ֣ים

’ĕ·lō·hîm

､ צְבָא֣וֹת

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ

of hosts ､

､ הֲשִׁיבֵ֑נוּ

hă·šî·ḇê·nū;

Restore us ､

– וְהָאֵ֥ר

wə·hā·’êr

and Cause to shine –

פָּ֝נֶ֗יךָ

pā·ne·ḵā,

. וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעָה׃

wə·niw·wā·šê·‘āh.

and we shall be saved .

גֶּ֭פֶן

ge·p̄en

מִמִּצְרַ֣יִם

mim·miṣ·ra·yim

תַּסִּ֑יעַ

tas·sî·a‘;

You have brought

תְּגָרֵ֥שׁ

tə·ḡā·rêš

You have cast out

､ גּ֝וֹיִ֗ם

gō·w·yim,

the nations ､

. וַתִּטָּעֶֽהָ׃

wat·tiṭ·ṭā·‘e·hā.

and planted it .

פִּנִּ֥יתָ

pin·nî·ṯā

You prepared [room]

לְפָנֶ֑יהָ

lə·p̄ā·ne·hā;

for it

וַתַּשְׁרֵ֥שׁ

wat·taš·rêš

and caused it to take deep

､ שָׁ֝רָשֶׁ֗יהָ

rā·še·hā,

root ､

וַתְּמַלֵּא־

wat·tə·mal·lê-

and it filled

. אָֽרֶץ׃

’ā·reṣ.

the land .

כָּסּ֣וּ

kās·sū

הָרִ֣ים

hā·rîm

צִלָּ֑הּ

ṣil·lāh;

with its shadow

וַ֝עֲנָפֶ֗יהָ

wa·‘ă·nā·p̄e·hā,

and with its boughs

אַֽרְזֵי־

’ar·zê-

. אֵֽל׃

’êl.

תְּשַׁלַּ֣ח

tə·šal·laḥ

קְצִירֶ֣הָ

qə·ṣî·re·hā

עַד־

‘aḏ-

to

､ יָ֑ם

yām;

the Sea ､

וְאֶל־

wə·’el-

and to

נָ֝הָ֗ר

nā·hār,

. יֽוֹנְקוֹתֶֽיהָ׃

yō·wn·qō·w·ṯe·hā.

לָ֭מָּה

lām·māh

פָּרַ֣צְתָּ

pā·raṣ·tā

have You broken down

､ גְדֵרֶ֑יהָ

ḡə·ḏê·re·hā;

וְ֝אָר֗וּהָ

wə·’ā·rū·hā,

so that pluck her [fruit]

כָּל־

kāl-

עֹ֥בְרֵי

‘ō·ḇə·rê

. דָֽרֶךְ׃

ḏā·reḵ.

the way .

יְכַרְסְמֶ֣נָּֽה

yə·ḵar·sə·men·nāh

חֲזִ֣יר

ḥă·zîr

the boar

מִיָּ֑עַ‪‬ר

mî·yā·‘ar;

out of the woods

וְזִ֖יז

wə·zîz

and the wild beast

שָׂדַ֣י

śā·ḏay

of the field

. יִרְעֶֽנָּה׃

yir·‘en·nāh.

אֱלֹהִ֣ים

’ĕ·lō·hîm

､ צְבָאוֹת֮

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ

of hosts ､

､ שֽׁ֫וּב־

šūḇ-

נָ֥א

nā

הַבֵּ֣ט

hab·bêṭ

､ מִשָּׁמַ֣יִם

miš·šā·ma·yim

from heaven ､

､ וּרְאֵ֑ה

ū·rə·’êh;

and see ､

וּ֝פְקֹ֗ד

ū·p̄ə·qōḏ,

– גֶּ֣פֶן

ge·p̄en

vine –

. זֹֽאת׃

zōṯ.

וְ֭כַנָּה

wə·ḵan·nāh

And the vineyard

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

､ נָטְעָ֣ה

nā·ṭə·‘āh

has planted ､

יְמִינֶ֑ךָ

yə·mî·ne·ḵā;

Your right hand

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and

בֵּ֝֗ן

bên,

אִמַּ֥צְתָּה

’im·maṣ·tāh

[that] You made strong

. לָּֽךְ׃

lāḵ.

שְׂרֻפָ֣ה

śə·ru·p̄āh

[it is] burned

､ בָאֵ֣שׁ

ḇā·’êš

with fire ､

– כְּסוּחָ֑ה

kə·sū·ḥāh;

[it is] cut down –

מִגַּעֲרַ֖ת

mig·ga·‘ă·raṯ

at the rebuke

פָּנֶ֣יךָ

pā·ne·ḵā

of Your countenance

. יֹאבֵֽדוּ׃

yō·ḇê·ḏū.

תְּֽהִי־

tə·hî-

Let be

יָ֭דְךָ

yā·ḏə·ḵā

עַל־

‘al-

אִ֣ישׁ

’îš

the man

､ יְמִינֶ֑ךָ

yə·mî·ne·ḵā;

of Your right hand ､

עַל־

‘al-

בֶּן־

ben-

the son

אָ֝דָ֗ם

’ā·ḏām,

of man

אִמַּ֥צְתָּ

’im·maṣ·tā

[whom] You made strong

. לָּֽךְ׃

lāḵ.

וְלֹא־

wə·lō-

And not

נָס֥וֹג

nā·sō·wḡ

we will turn back

מִמֶּ֑ךָּ

mim·me·kā;

תְּ֝חַיֵּ֗נוּ

tə·ḥay·yê·nū,

וּבְשִׁמְךָ֥

ū·ḇə·šim·ḵā

and upon Your name

. נִקְרָֽא׃

niq·rā.

we will call .

יְה֘וָ֤ה

Yah·weh

אֱלֹהִ֣ים

’ĕ·lō·hîm

､ צְבָא֣וֹת

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ

of hosts ､

､ הֲשִׁיבֵ֑נוּ

hă·šî·ḇê·nū;

Restore us ､

– הָאֵ֥ר

hā·’êr

Cause to shine –

פָּ֝נֶ֗יךָ

pā·ne·ḵā,

. וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעָה׃

wə·niw·wā·šê·‘āh.

and we shall be saved .
