לֵאלֹהִ֣ים

to God
– עוּזֵּ֑נוּ

לֵאלֹהֵ֥י

to the God

and strike

the timbrel ､

the harp
נָעִ֣ים
nā·‘îm
עִם־
‘im-
with
. נָֽבֶל׃
nā·ḇel.
the lute .

תִּקְע֣וּ
tiq·‘ū
､ בַחֹ֣דֶשׁ
ḇa·ḥō·ḏeš
at the time of the New Moon ､
שׁוֹפָ֑ר
šō·w·p̄ār;
､ בַּ֝כֵּ֗סֶה
bak·kê·seh,
at the full moon ､
לְי֣וֹם
lə·yō·wm
on day
. חַגֵּֽנוּ׃
ḥag·gê·nū.

כִּ֤י

חֹ֣ק

､ לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל

ה֑וּא
hū;
that [is]
מִ֝שְׁפָּ֗ט
miš·pāṭ,
a law
לֵאלֹהֵ֥י
lê·lō·hê
of the God
. יַעֲקֹֽב׃
ya·‘ă·qōḇ.
of Jacob .

､ עֵ֤דוּת ׀
‘ê·ḏūṯ
[as] a testimony ､
בִּֽיה֘וֹסֵ֤ף
bî·hō·w·sêp̄
שָׂמ֗וֹ
śā·mōw,
בְּ֭צֵאתוֹ
bə·ṣê·ṯōw
עַל־
‘al-
אֶ֣רֶץ
’e·reṣ
the land
מִצְרָ֑יִם
miṣ·rā·yim;
שְׂפַ֖ת
śə·p̄aṯ
. לֹא־
lō-
not .
יָדַ֣עְתִּי
yā·ḏa‘·tî
. אֶשְׁמָֽע׃
’eš·mā‘.
[Where] I heard .

הֲסִיר֣וֹתִי
hă·sî·rō·w·ṯî
､ מִסֵּ֣בֶל
mis·sê·ḇel
from the burden ､
שִׁכְמ֑וֹ
šiḵ·mōw;
כַּ֝פָּ֗יו
kap·pāw,
מִדּ֥וּד
mid·dūḏ
. תַּעֲבֹֽרְנָה׃
ta·‘ă·ḇō·rə·nāh.

､ בַּצָּרָ֥ה
baṣ·ṣā·rāh
In trouble ､
קָרָ֗אתָ
qā·rā·ṯā,
וָאֲחַ֫לְּצֶ֥ךָּ
wā·’ă·ḥal·lə·ṣe·kā
אֶ֭עֶנְךָ
’e·‘en·ḵā
בְּסֵ֣תֶר
bə·sê·ṯer
in the secret place
– רַ֑עַם
ra·‘am;
of thunder –
אֶבְחָֽנְךָ֨
’eḇ·ḥā·nə·ḵā
עַל־
‘al-
at
מֵ֖י
mê
the waters
. מְרִיבָ֣ה
mə·rî·ḇāh
of Meribah .
. סֶֽלָה׃
se·lāh.

､ שְׁמַ֣ע
šə·ma‘
Hear ､
､ עַ֭מִּי
‘am·mî
My people ､
וְאָעִ֣ידָה
wə·’ā·‘î·ḏāh
and I will admonish
בָּ֑ךְ
bāḵ;
､ יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל
yiś·rā·’êl,
Israel ､
אִם־
’im-
if
תִּֽשְׁמַֽע־
tiš·ma‘-
you will listen
. לִֽי׃
lî.
to Me .

לֹֽא־
lō-
יִהְיֶ֣ה
yih·yeh
בְ֭ךָ
ḇə·ḵā
אֵ֣ל
’êl
זָ֑ר
zār;
וְלֹ֥א
wə·lō
תִ֝שְׁתַּחֲוֶ֗ה
ṯiš·ta·ḥă·weh,
לְאֵ֣ל
lə·’êl
. נֵכָֽר׃
nê·ḵār.

אָנֹכִ֨י ׀
’ā·nō·ḵî
I [am]
יְה֘וָ֤ה
Yah·weh
､ אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ
’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā,
your God ､
הַֽ֭מַּעַלְךָ
ham·ma·‘al·ḵā
מֵאֶ֣רֶץ
mê·’e·reṣ
out of the land
– מִצְרָ֑יִם
miṣ·rā·yim;
of Egypt –
､ הַרְחֶב־
har·ḥeḇ-
פִּ֝֗יךָ
pî·ḵā,
. וַאֲמַלְאֵֽהוּ׃
wa·’ă·mal·’ê·hū.
and I will fill it .

וְלֹא־
wə·lō-
But not
שָׁמַ֣ע
šā·ma‘
עַמִּ֣י
‘am·mî
– לְקוֹלִ֑י
lə·qō·w·lî;
My voice –
וְ֝יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל
wə·yiś·rā·’êl,
and Israel
לֹא־
lō-
אָ֥בָה
’ā·ḇāh
. לִֽי׃
lî.
of Me .
12
וָֽ֭אֲשַׁלְּחֵהוּ
wā·’ă·šal·lə·ḥê·hū
– בִּשְׁרִיר֣וּת
biš·rî·rūṯ
to stubborn –
לִבָּ֑ם
lib·bām;
יֵ֝לְכ֗וּ
yê·lə·ḵū,
to walk
. בְּֽמוֹעֲצוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃
bə·mō·w·‘ă·ṣō·w·ṯê·hem.

ל֗וּ
lū,
Oh that
עַ֭מִּי
‘am·mî
שֹׁמֵ֣עַֽ
šō·mê·a‘
לִ֑י
lî;
to Me
יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל
yiś·rā·’êl,
! בִּדְרָכַ֥י
biḏ·rā·ḵay
in My ways !
. יְהַלֵּֽכוּ׃
yə·hal·lê·ḵū.

כִּ֭מְעַט
kim·‘aṭ
､ אוֹיְבֵיהֶ֣ם
’ō·wy·ḇê·hem
אַכְנִ֑יעַ
’aḵ·nî·a‘;
וְעַ֥ל
wə·‘al
צָ֝רֵיהֶ֗ם
ṣā·rê·hem,
אָשִׁ֥יב
’ā·šîḇ
. יָדִֽי׃
yā·ḏî.
My hand .

מְשַׂנְאֵ֣י
mə·śan·’ê
The haters
יְ֭הוָה
Yah·weh
יְכַֽחֲשׁוּ־
yə·ḵa·ḥă·šū-
ל֑וֹ
lōw;
to Him
וִיהִ֖י
wî·hî
עִתָּ֣ם
‘it·tām
. לְעוֹלָֽם׃
lə·‘ō·w·lām.

וַֽ֭יַּאֲכִילֵהוּ
way·ya·’ă·ḵî·lê·hū
מֵחֵ֣לֶב
mê·ḥê·leḇ
with the finest
､ חִטָּ֑ה
ḥiṭ·ṭāh;
of wheat ､
וּ֝מִצּ֗וּר
ū·miṣ·ṣūr,
and from the rock
דְּבַ֣שׁ
də·ḇaš
with honey
. אַשְׂבִּיעֶֽךָ׃
’aś·bî·‘e·ḵā.
