'Love Your Neighbor' in the Bible
You shall not seek vengeance, and you shall not harbor a grudge [against] {your fellow citizens}; and you shall love your neighbor like yourself; I [am] Yahweh.
"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor' and 'Hate your enemy.'
honor your father and your mother, and love your neighbor as yourself."
And the second [is] like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'
The second [is] this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
And to love him from your whole heart and from your whole understanding and from your whole strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."
For the [commandments], "You shall not commit adultery, you shall not commit murder, you shall not steal, you shall not covet," and if [there is] any other commandment, are summed up in this statement: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
However, if you carry out the royal law according to the scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing well.
