'Tribes of Israel' in the Bible

Dan will judge his peopleas one of the tribes of Israel.

The people had compassion on Benjamin, because the Lord had made this gap in the tribes of Israel.

Out of all the tribes of Israel, I selected your house to be priests, to offer sacrifices on My altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod in My presence. I also gave your house all the Israelite fire offerings.

Samuel had all the tribes of Israel come forward, and the tribe of Benjamin was selected.

Manasseh set up the carved image of Asherah, which he made, in the temple that the Lord had spoken about to David and his son Solomon, “I will establish My name forever in this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.

This is what the Lord God says: “This is the border you will use to divide the land as an inheritance for the 12 tribes of Israel. Joseph will receive two shares.

“You are to divide this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel.

You will allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the foreigners living among you, who have fathered children among you. You will treat them like native-born Israelites; along with you, they will be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel.

The city’s workers from all the tribes of Israel will cultivate it.

there will be three gates facing north, the gates of the city being named for the tribes of Israel: one, the gate of Reuben; one, the gate of Judah; and one, the gate of Levi.

Ephraim will become a desolationon the day of punishment;I announce what is certainamong the tribes of Israel.

An OracleThe word of the Lordis against the land of Hadrach,and Damascus is its resting place—for the eyes of menand all the tribes of Israelare on the Lord—

so that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom. And you will sit on thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel.
