1 Timothy 4:11-1 Timothy 5:2 - Instructions For Ministry

¹¹ Continue to give these orders and to teach these truths. ¹² Let no one think little of you because you are young, but always set an example for believers, in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. ¹³ Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of the Scriptures, and to preaching and teaching. ¹⁴ Stop neglecting the gift you received, which was given you through prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands upon you. ¹⁵ Continue cultivating these things; be devoted to them, so that everybody will see your progress. ¹⁶ Make it your habit to pay close attention to yourself and your teaching. Persevere in these things, for if you do you will save both yourself and those who listen to you.

¹ Never reprove an older man, but always appeal to him as a father. Treat younger men like brothers, ² older women like mothers, younger women like sisters, with perfect purity.
