John 17:6-19 - Jesus Prays For His Disciples

6 I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou gayest me out of the world; they were thine, and thou gavest them me, and they have kept thy word. 7 Now they have known that all things which thou hast given me are of thee, 8 because the words which thou hast given me I have given them; and they have received and known truly that I came forth from thee, and believed that thou didst send me. 9 I pray for them. I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me, for they are thine, 10 and all mine are thine, and thine mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 And I am no longer in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep in thy name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one as we also are. 12 When I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name which thou gayest me, and preserved [them], and no one of them has been lost, except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled; 13 but now I come to thee, and I say these things in the world that they may have my joy made complete in them. 14 I have given them thy word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world. 15 I ask not that thou wouldst take them out of the world, but that thou wouldst keep them from evil. 16 They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by thy truth; thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world: 19 and I sanctify myself for them, that they also may be sanctified by truth.
