Matthew 10:5-15 - Jesus Sends Out The Twelve Apostles
5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, when he had charged them, saying, Go not away to gentiles, and enter not any city of the Samaritans; 6 but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And, as ye go, proclaim, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons; freely ye received, freely give. 9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass, in your girdles; 10 nor bag for the journey, nor two coats, nor sandals, nor a staff. For the laborer is worthy of his living.
11 And into whatever city or town ye enter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye leave the place. 12 And as ye enter the house, salute it. 13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it; but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye go out of that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. 15 Truly do I say to you, It will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.
