Matthew 26:17-25 - Jesus' Final Passover With The Disciples
17 On the first day of the festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and said, "Where do you wish us to make the preparations for you to eat the Passover supper?"
18 And he said, "Go into the city, to a certain man, and say to him, 'The Master says, "My time is near. I am going to keep the Passover at your house with my disciples." ' " 19 So the disciples did as Jesus directed them, and prepared the Passover supper. 20 When evening came, he took his place at table with the twelve disciples. 21 And as they were eating, he said, "I tell you, one of you will betray me!"
22 They were deeply hurt and began to say to him one after another, "Can it be I, Master?"
23 He answered, "The man who just dipped his hand in the same dish with me is going to betray me. 24 The Son of Man is to go away as the Scriptures say of him, but alas for the man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had never been born!"
25 Judas, who betrayed him, said, "Can it be I, Master?" He said to him, "You are right!"
12 On the first day of the festival of Unleavened Bread, on which it was customary to kill the Passover lamb, Jesus' disciples said to him, "Where do you wish us to go and make the preparations for you to eat the Passover supper?"
13 So he sent away two of his disciples, saying to them, "Go into the city, and you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him, 14 and whatever house he goes into, say to the man of the house, 'The Master says, "Where is my room where I can eat the Passover supper with my disciples?" ' 15 And he will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make your preparations for us there." 16 So the disciples started and went into the city, and found everything just as he had told them; and they prepared the Passover supper.
17 When it was evening he came with the Twelve. 18 And when they were at the table eating, Jesus said, "I tell you, one of you is going to betray me??ne who is eating with me."
19 And they were hurt, and said to him one after another, "Can it be I?"
20 He said to them, "It is one of the Twelve, who is dipping his bread in the same dish with me. 21 For the Son of Man is indeed to go away as the Scriptures say of him, but alas for the man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had never been born."
7 When the day of Unleavened Bread came, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed, 8 Jesus sent Peter and John, saying to them, "Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover."
9 They said to him, "Where do you want us to prepare it?"
10 He said to them, "Just after you enter the city, you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him to the house to which he goes, 11 and say to the man of the house, 'Our Master says to you, "Where is the room where I can eat the Passover supper with my disciples?" ' 12 And he will show you a large room upstairs with the necessary furniture. Make your preparations there."
13 So they went and found everything just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover supper.
