John 14:27-31 - Jesus' Gift Of Peace

²⁷ Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your hearts be grieved, neither fear ye. ²⁸ "Ye have heard how I said unto you, 'I go and come again unto you.' If ye loved me, ye would verily rejoice, because I said I go unto the father. For the father is greater than I. ²⁹ And now have I showed you, before it come: that when it is come to pass, ye might believe. ³⁰ Hereafter will I not talk many words unto you. For the chief ruler of this world cometh, and hath nought in me. ³¹ But that the world may know that I love the father; Therefore as the father gave me commandment, even so do I. Rise, let us go hence."
