Genesis 14:17-24 - Melchizedek's Blessing

17 And the king of Sodom shall come forth to his meeting (after his return from the destroying of Chedorlaomer and the kings which were with him) at the valley of Shaveh; this is the king's valley. 18 And Melchise-dek, king of Salem, bringing forth bread and wine: and he is priest of the most high God. 19 And he will bless him, and will say, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessing the heavens and the earth. 20 And praised be the most high God who delivered thine oppressors into thy hand; and he will give him of the tenth of all.

21 And the king of Sodom will say to Abram, Give to me the living creature, and take the susbtance to thyself.

22 And Abram will say to the king of Sodom, I lifted up my hand to Jehovah God the most high, possessing the heavens and the earth. 23 If from a line and to a shoe-string and if I shall take from all which is to thee, and thou shalt not say I enriched Abram: 24 Nothing yet for me except what the young men ate, and the portion of the men who went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamra; they shall take their portion.
