Exodus 2:16-22 - Moses Marries Zipporah
16 The priest of Midian had seven daughters. They came to draw water and filled the troughs to water their father's flock. 17 Then the shepherds came and drove them away. Moses stood up and helped them water their flock. 18 When they returned to Reuel their father, he said, Why have you come back so soon today? 19 They said: An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds. He drew water for us and watered the flock.
20 He asked his daughters: Where is he? Why have you left the man? Call him, that he may eat bread.
21 Moses was content to live with the man. He gave Moses his daughter Zipporah. 22 She bore a son, and he called his name Gershom. For he said: I have been a stranger in a strange land.
