Romans 5:1-11 - Reconciliation With God Through Faith In Christ

1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 through whom also we have admission by faith into this grace in which we stand, and boast in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation worketh patience, 4 and patience experience, 5 and experience hope, and this hope maketh us not ashamed; because the love of God is diffused in our hearts by the holy Spirit that is given to us.

6 For when we were yet without strength, Christ died in due season for the ungodly. 7 Whereas one would hardly die for a just man, though perhaps for a good man one might dare even to die. 8 But God recommendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son; much more being reconciled shall we be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received reconciliation.
