Matthew 24:3-8 - Signs Of The End Of The Age

³ And as he sat on the mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

⁴ And Jesus answering said, Take heed that no man deceive you. ⁵ For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and shall deceive many. ⁶ And ye will hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled; for all these things must come to pass: but the end is not yet. ⁷ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places: ⁸ All these are the beginning of sorrows.

³ And as he sat on the mount of Olives, over-against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, ⁴ Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

⁷ And they asked him saying, Master, when shall these things be? And what is the sign, when these things shall come to pass?

⁸ And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ: And the time is near. ⁹ Go ye not after them. And when ye shall hear of wars, and commotions, be not terrified; for these things must be first; but the end is not immediately.

¹⁰ Then said he to them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. ¹¹ And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines and pestilences, and there shall be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
