And I will shew prodigies in heaven above, and signs on earth beneath, blood and fire, and vapour of smoke, The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the day of the Lord, the great and illustrious day, come.

Who verily was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but was manifested in these last times for you,

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem those under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

But if it be by the Spirit of God that I cast out devils, then the kingdom of God is come upon you.

Therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out devils by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God is come upon you.

And he said to them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also; for therefore am I sent.

And afterward he went through every city and village preaching and publishing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God; and the twelve were with him.

he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me, to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To publish the acceptable year of the Lord. And he said to them, This day is the scripture fulfilled in your ears.

And Jesus answering said to them, Go and tell John the things which ye hear and see. The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised, and the poor have the gospel preached to them: And happy is he, whosoever shall not be offended at me.

And he answering said to them, Go and tell John the things ye have seen and heard: the blind see; the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed; the deaf hear; the dead are raised; to the poor the gospel is preached.

But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel, And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophecy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And in those days I will pour out of my Spirit upon my servants and upon my handmaids, and they shall prophecy.

God who at sundry times and in divers manners spake of old to the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken to us by his Son; Whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom he also made the worlds:

But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say to you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see the things which ye see, and have not seen them, and to hear the things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

And turning to the disciples, he said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see. For I tell you, many prophets and kings have desired to see the things which ye see, and have not seen them, and to hear the things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, (according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began, But now made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God,

And to let all men see, what is the fellowship of the mystery, which was hidden from the beginning of the world by God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

The mystery which hath been hid from ages and generations; but now is manifested to his saints:

For then he must often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once at the consummation of the ages hath he been manifested, to abolish sin by the sacrifice of himself.

But whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.

(For he saith, I have heard thee in an acceptable time, and in a day of salvation have I succoured thee. Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Seeing ye know ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation delivered by tradition from your fathers, But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, Who verily was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but was manifested in these last times for you,

But know this, that in the last days grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, arrogant, proud, evil-speakers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, Without natural affection, covenant-breakers, slanderers, intemperate, fierce, despisers of good men,read more.
Traitors, rash, puffed up, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness but denying the power of it.

But the spirit saith expresly, that in the later times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils,

And Jesus answering said, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and shall deceive many.

And Jesus answering said, Take heed lest any deceive you.

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ: And the time is near.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that Antichrist cometh, so even now there are many Antichrists, whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us: for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest, that they were not all of us.

that there will come scoffers in the last days, walking after their own desires, Saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

But he shall receive an hundred fold now in this time, houses and brethren and sisters and mothers and children and lands with persecutions, and in the world to come eternal life.

But before all these things they shall lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my names sake. And it shall turn to you for a testimony. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to premeditate what to answer. For I will give you a mouth and wisdom,read more.
which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay or resist. But ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated by all men for my names sake.

Then shall they deliver you to be afflicted, and shall kill you; and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and hate one another.

But take heed to yourselves for they will deliver you to councils, and ye shall be beaten in synagogues, and shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them. And the gospel must first be published among all nations. But when they shall hale you and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak; for it is not yet that speak, but the Holy Ghost.read more.
Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son: and children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake; but he that endureth to the end, he shall be saved.

So Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, will appear the second time, without sin, to them that look for him, unto salvation.

So shall it be at the end of the world. The angels shall come forth and sever the wicked from among the just.

And as he sat on the mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, as ye also are ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus.

For ye yourselves know perfectly, that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, the elements shall melt with fervent heat, and the earth, and the works that are therein, shall be burnt up.

And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

And what the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the energy of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, raising him from the dead; and he hath made him sit at his own right-hand in heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

If ye then are risen with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ sitteth at the right-hand of God. Set your affections on the things above, not the things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.read more.
When Christ, our life shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

to provoke one another to love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another, and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
