1 Timothy 4:1-5 - The Coming Apostasy
1 The Spirit explicitly says that some will fall away from the faith (truth) in later times. Spirits and doctrines of demons will seduce them, 2 through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron. 3 They will forbid marrying, [and command] to abstain from food, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with thanksgiving. 5 This is because it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer.
