In the last days the mountain of the house of Jehovah will be established as the highest of the mountains and exalted above the hills. All the nations will stream to it. Then many people will come and say: Let us go to the mountain of Jehovah, to the House of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways so that we may live by them. The law will go out from Zion. The word of Jehovah will go out from Jerusalem. Then he will judge disputes between nations and settle matters between many people. They will beat (hammer) their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nations will not fight against each other, and they will not learn war anymore.

It will happen in the last days! The mountain of the house of Jehovah will be established above the top of the mountains. It will be exalted above the hills. Peoples will flow to it. Many nations will come. They will say: Come you people, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths! For out of Zion will go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem. He will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations far away. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks! Nation will not lift up sword against nation and they will not learn war any more!

For unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom. He will establish and uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will accomplish this.

There must go forth a twig out of the stump of Jesse. A branch (sprout) (shoot) (descendant) from his roots will bear fruit. The Spirit of Jehovah will rest on him. The spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and respect for Jehovah will be his. He will delight in the reverence of Jehovah. He will not judge by what his eyes see, nor make a decision by what his ears hear.read more.
But with righteousness he will judge the poor, and decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth (power of his words), and with the spirit (breath) of his lips he will destroy the wicked. Righteousness will be the belt around his loins. Faithfulness will be the belt around His waist. The wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the young lion and the well-fed animal together. A little boy will lead them. Also the cow and the bear will graze. Their young will lie down together. And the lion will eat straw like the ox. The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra. The weaned child will put his hand on the viper's den. They will not hurt or destroy in my entire holy mountain. This is because the earth will be full of the knowledge of Jehovah just as the waters cover the sea.

Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years. He who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere youth. The sinner who reaches a hundred will be considered accursed. They will build houses and dwell in them. They will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people. My chosen ones will long enjoy the works of their hands.read more.
They will not toil in vain or bear children doomed to misfortune. For they will be a people blessed by Jehovah, they and their descendants with them. Before they call I will answer! While they are still speaking I will hear. The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the bull, but dust will be the serpent's food. They will neither harm nor destroy on my entire holy mountain, Jehovah proclaims.

At that time I will choose as king a righteous descendant of David. That king will do what is right and just throughout the land.

The people of Judah and of Jerusalem will be rescued and will live in safety. The city will be called Jehovah is Our Righteousness.'

Afterward the children of Israel will return and seek Jehovah their God. David their king will come with trembling to Jehovah and to his goodness in the last days.

On that day his people will say: This is our God! We have waited for Him and now He will save us. This is Jehovah. We have waited for Him. Let us rejoice and be glad because He will save us.

You will serve Jehovah your God and David your king. I will establish him for you.

In those days and at that time, declares Jehovah, the sons of Israel will come. Both they and the sons of Judah will go along weeping as they go. They will seek Jehovah their God.

Behold! At that time I will bring back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem.

Jehovah of hosts said: In those days it will come to pass, that ten men out of all the languages of the nations, will take hold of the skirt of the one who is a Jew, saying, We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.

Shout (wail) (howl) for the Day of Jehovah is near! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. All hands will fall impaired (weakened). Every man's heart will melt (courage will fail). They will be terrified! Pains and anguish will possess them. They will writhe like a woman in labor. They will look at one another in amazement with their faces reddened with excitement (aflame).read more.
Behold! The Day of Jehovah is coming! It will be cruel, with fury and burning anger. It will make the land desolation and exterminate the sinners from it. The stars of heaven and their constellations will not shine forth their light. The sun will be dark when it rises and the moon will not shine its light. I will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their iniquity. I will also end the arrogance of the proud. I will demean (disgrace) the arrogance of tyranny. I will make mortal man harder to find than pure gold and mankind than the gold of Ophir.

The day is near. The Day of Jehovah is near. It will be a gloomy day, a time of trouble for the nations.

Jehovah speaks before his army. His camp is very great! He is strong that executes his word. The Day of Jehovah is great and very terrible! Who can endure it?

Woe to you who desire the day of Jehovah! What will the day of Jehovah mean to you? It is darkness, and not light. Like a man who ran from a lion, and a bear met him! So he went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Will the day of Jehovah be darkness with no light? Will it be very dark, and no brightness in it?

I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable (awesome) Day of Jehovah arrives. (Joel 2:31)

Jesus was known before the foundation of the world. He was made known at the end times for your sake.

When the full time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

Jesus said: The time has come. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe the good news.

But if I cast out demons by God's Spirit, then the kingdom of God has come to you.

If I use the finger (power) (Spirit) (Exodus 31:18) (2 Corinthians 3:3) of God to cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you?

He said to them: I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities also. This is why I was sent.

Jesus and the twelve apostles traveled through cities and villages preaching the good news of the kingdom of God.

The Spirit of Jehovah is upon me. He anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind. To set at liberty those who are bruised. To proclaim the acceptable year of Jehovah. (Isaiah 61:1) He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. Today, he said, you heard this scripture fulfilled.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah is upon me, because Jehovah has anointed me to announce good news to the lowly and meek. This is what the prophet Joel spoke about: It will come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out from my Spirit upon all flesh. And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out (a portion from) (some of) my Spirit in those days and they will prophesy: (Joel 2:28)

In the last days I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions! (Ac 2:17; Isa 44:3) I will also pour out my Spirit upon the male and female servants in those days. (Ac 10:45; Zec 12:10; Eze 36:27)

I will put my Spirit in you. I will enable you to live by my Laws, and you will obey my rules.

Long ago on many occasions and in many ways God spoke to our fathers through the prophets. He has in these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, through whom he made the ages (Greek: aion: ages of time, perpetuity, worlds, generations, human entities).

Happy and blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. Truly, I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things that you see, and could not see them. They also desired to hear the things that you hear, and could not hear them.

Turning to the disciples, he said privately: Blessed are the eyes that see the things you see. I tell you many prophets and kings desired to see the things you see and did not see them. To hear the things you hear and did not hear them.

Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my good news, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the secret, which was kept secret since the world began. It is now made known by the Scriptures of the prophets according to the commandment of the everlasting God. It is made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.

To make all men see what is the administration of the secret which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things.

It is the secret he hid through all past ages from all human beings but has now revealed to his holy ones.

Otherwise he would have to suffer often from the founding of the world. He has presented himself once at the end of the age to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Seventy weeks (seventy sets of seven time periods) are decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish transgression and to make an end of sin, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.

It will come to pass, that whoever will call on the name of Jehovah will be saved. (Joel 2:32)

It will happen that who ever calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved. There will be those on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem that will escape, even among the survivors whom Jehovah calls.

For he said: At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you. Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation!

This is what Jehovah says: In the time of favor I will answer you. I will appoint you as my promise to the people. You will restore the land. You will make them inherit the desolate inheritance.

Know that you were redeemed from your futile way of life inherited from your fathers. [The redemption] was not with corruptible things like silver or gold, but with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, even the blood of Christ. Jesus was known before the foundation of the world. Know this also that in the last days perilous (dangerous) times will come. For men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous (lovers of money), arrogant, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful (ungrateful), unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, despisers of those who are good,read more.
traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying its power. Stay away from people like this!

Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined. The wicked will do wickedly and none of the wicked will understand. Those who are wise will understand!

The Spirit explicitly says that some will fall away from the faith (truth) in later times. Spirits and doctrines of demons will seduce them,

Jesus answered: Be careful that no man misleads you. Many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many.

Jesus warned them: Take heed that no man lead you astray.

He said: Take heed that you are not led astray. Many will come in my name, saying, I am he but the time is not at hand. Do not follow them.

Many will stumble and betray and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. Wickedness and lawlessness will increase. The love of many will grow cold.

Little children, it is the last hour! You heard that the antichrist is coming. Even now many antichrists have come. That is how we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us. If they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they went out that it made it plain that they all are not of us.

Know this first, that in the last days, mockers will come with mockery, walking after their own lusts, Saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep [in death], all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

Those who are wise among the people will instruct many. Yet they will fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by spoil, for many days. When they fall, they will be helped with a little help; but many will join them in their flatteries. Some of them who are wise (have insight) will fall. This will refine them, and purify them, and make them clean, even to the time of the end, because it is yet for the time appointed.

will receive a hundred times as much now in this time, and in the age to come everlasting life.

Even before all these things, they will capture you, and persecute you. You will be delivered to synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and governors for my name's sake. It will give you an opportunity to witness. Do not think about what you will say before it happens.read more.
I will give you ability to talk and words of wisdom, which your adversaries shall not be able to resist or refute. Parent, brothers and sisters and friends will turn you over and cause you to be put to death. Men will hate you because of my name.

People will cause you tribulation, and kill you. You will be hated by all the nations for my name's sake. Many will stumble and betray and hate one another.

Be on guard for they will deliver you up to courts. You will be beaten in the meeting places. You will be taken before governors and kings for a testimony to them for my sake. And the good news must first be preached to all the nations. When they deliver you up to judgment, do not worry before hand what you shall speak. Holy Spirit will give it to you at that time.read more.
Brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death. All men will hate you because of my name. He who endures to the end will be saved.

So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. He will appear the second time without sin to those who look to him for their salvation.

It will be that way at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous.

He sat on the Mount of Olives. The disciples came to him privately, saying: Tell us when these things will be? What will be the sign of your presence and of the end of the age?

as also you did acknowledge us in part, that we are your reason to be proud, even as you also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.

For you know perfectly that the Day of Jehovah will come like a thief in the night. (Zephaniah 1:14)

The day of Jehovah will come as a thief. The heavens will pass away with a great noise. The elements shall be dissolved with intense heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up (destroyed). (Joel 2:31) (Zephaniah 1:14)

and have tasted the good Word of God, and the powers of the age to come,

and what the exceeding greatness of his power is toward us who believe, according to the operation of his mighty strength. He operated in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places. It is far above all governments and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

If you have been raised together with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Think about the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth. For you died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.read more.
When Christ, who is our life, will be made known, then you will also be made known with him in glory.

Let us consider one another to encourage love and good works: Not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and even more, as you see the day approaching.
