Matthew 24:1-2 - The Destruction Of The Temple Predicted

¹ And Jesus went out, and was departing from the temple, and his disciples came to him to point out to him the buildings of the temple. ² But Jesus said to them: Do you not see all these things? Verily I say to you, There shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be thrown down,

¹ And as he was going out from the temple, one of his disciples said to him: Teacher, see what stones and what buildings!

² And Jesus answering, said to him: Do you see these great buildings? There shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

⁵ And as some were saying of the temple, that it was adorned with beautiful stones and offerings, he said: ⁶ As for these things which you see, the days will come in which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
