Matthew 24:32-35 - The Parable Of The Fig Tree
32 Learn now a parable from the fig-tree: As soon as its branch becomes tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So also, when you see all these things, know that it is near at the doors. 34 Verily I say to you, This generation shall not pass away till all these things shall have taken place. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
28 But learn a parable from the fig-tree: As soon as its branch becomes tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So, also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors. 30 Verily I say to you, this generation shall not pass away, till all these things take place. 31 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
29 And he spoke a parable to them: See the fig-tree, and all the trees; 30 when they now put forth leaves, you see, and know of yourselves that summer is near. 31 So likewise, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Verily I say to you, This generation shall not pass away till all be fulfilled. 33 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
