Matthew 24:1-2 - The Destruction Of The Temple Predicted

¹ And Jesus, going out, was departing from the temple; and His disciples came near to show Him the buildings of the temple. ² But, He, answering, said to them, "See ye not all these things? verily I say to you, there shall in no wise be left here a stone upon a stone, that shall not be thrown down."

¹ And, as He was going out of the temple, one of His disciples says to Him, "Teacher, behold, what manner of stones and what manner of buildings!"

² And Jesus said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? There shall not be left here a stone upon a stone, which shall not be thrown down."

⁵ And, as some were speaking about the temple, "With what beautiful stones and offerings it has been adorned," He said, ⁶ "As to these things which ye are looking upon, the days will come, in which there will not be left here a stone upon a stone, which will not be thrown down."
