Revelation 7:9-17 - The Great Crowd Before The Throne

After that I saw a great crowd which no one could count from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, wearing white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and they cried in a loud voice, "Our deliverance is the work of our God who is seated on the throne, and of the Lamb!"

Then all the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four animals, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying, "Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and strength be to our God forever and ever. Amen!"

Then one of the elders addressed me and said, "Who are these people dressed in white robes, and where do they come from?"

I said to him, "You know, my lord." He said to me, "They are the people who come through the great persecution, who have washed their robes white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 That is why they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple, and he who is seated on the throne will shelter them. 16 They will never be hungry or thirsty again, and never again will the sun or any burning heat distress them, 17 for the Lamb who is in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe every tear from their eyes."
