Matthew 26:26-30 - The Lord's Supper
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took the bread, and, having blessed it, broke it and gave it to the disciples and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And taking the cup and having given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29 But I say unto you, I will not drink from now on of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom. 30 And when they had sung a hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
22 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread and, blessing it, broke it and gave to them and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
23 And taking the cup, having given thanks, he gave it to them; and they all drank of it. 24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. 25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God. 26 And when they had sung the hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
14 And when the hour was come, he sat down at the table, and the twelve apostles with him. 15 And he said unto them, With desire I have greatly desired to eat this passover lamb with you before I suffer; 16 for I say unto you, I will not eat any more thereof until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 And taking the cup, having given thanks, he said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves, 18 for I say unto you, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God shall come.
19 And taking bread, having given thanks, he broke it and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also he took and gave them the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. 21 But with all this, behold, the hand of him that betrays me is with me on the table. 22 And truly the Son of man goes as it was determined; but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
23 And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
