Luke 18:1-8 - The Parable Of The Unjust Judge
1 And he spoke a parable to them, that they ought always to pray, and not to become weary, 2 saying: There was in a certain city a judge, who neither feared God nor regarded man. 3 And there was a widow in that city, and she came to him, and said: Avenge me on my opponent at law.
4 And for a while he refused. But afterward he said within himself: Though I fear not God, nor regard man, 5 yet, because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6 And the Lord said: Hear what the unjust judge says; 7 and will not God avenge his elect, who cry to him day and night, though he delay long in respect to them? 8 I say to you, that he will avenge them speedily. Yet, when the Son of man comes, will he find the faith on the earth?
