John 8:31-38 - The Truth Will Set You Free
31 Therefore said Jesus to the Jews that believed on Him, If ye continue in my word, ye are indeed my disciples. 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered Him, We are the seed of Abraham, and never were slaves to any one, how then dost thou say, Ye shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily I say unto you, whosoever maketh a practice of sin, is the servant of sin. 35 Now the servant does not continue always in the family: but the Son abideth always. 36 If therefore the Son make you free, ye shall be free indeed. 37 I know that ye are the seed of Abraham, but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. 38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father, and ye do what ye have seen with your father.
