1. as the insignia, of office: Joseph and Daniel were invested with gold chains. Ge 41:42; Da 5:7.

Pharaoh took his signet ring from his hand and put it on Joseph's hand. He clothed him in garments of fine linen and put the gold necklace around his neck.
Also make two chains of pure gold. These gold chains should be twisted like ropes. Fasten these chains to the settings.

They profess that they know God; but deny him by their works! They are detestable, disobedient, and not approved for any good work.
Angels who did not keep their position left their proper habitation. He has kept them in everlasting bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day.
