is expressly forbidden (Tit 3:2; Jas 4:11), and severe punishments are denounced against it (1Co 5:11; 6:10). It is spoken of also with abhorrence (Ps 15:3; Pr 18:6-7), and is foreign to the whole Christian character and the example of Christ.

Do not speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against his brother, and who judges his brother, speaks against the Law and judges the Law. But if you judge the Law, you are not a doer of the Law, but a judge.
