it seemed good to me also, following all things accurately from the very first, to write to you in order, most excellent Theophilus,
And provide animals, so that they may set Paul on them and bring him to Felix the governor.
Since we enjoy great quietness by you, and very worthy deeds are done to this nation due to your forethought, in everything and everywhere, most noble Felix, we accept with all thankfulness.
But the governor motioning to him to speak, Paul answered; Understanding you as being a judge of this nation many years, I cheerfully defend myself as to the things concerning myself.
And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and the Judgment to come, Felix trembled and answered, Go for this time, but taking time later, I will call for you.
But he said, Not to insanity, most noble Festus, but I speak words of truth and sanity.
