Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like to gold, or silver, or stone graven by art and man's device.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

1. ?????, that which is 'divine:' it is not like gold, silver, or stone, etc. Ac 17:29. The word is translated 'divine' in 2Pe 1:3-4.

According as his divine power hath given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given to us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
