"When any of you fast, never assume gloomy looks as the hypocrites do; for they disfigure their faces in order that it may be evident to men that they are fasting. I solemnly tell you that they already have their reward. But, whenever you fast, pour perfume on your hair and wash your face, read more. that it may not be apparent to men that you are fasting, but to your Father who is in secret; and your Father--He who sees in secret--will recompense you.

So they come to the Warden's house. Here He gazes on a scene of uproar, with people weeping aloud and wailing.

Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.

And so we shall be with the Lord for ever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

For the Lamb who is in front of the throne will be their Shepherd, and will guide them to watersprings of Life, and God will wipe every tear from their eyes."
