for let each one of us please the neighbour for good, unto edification,

so also ye, since ye are earnestly desirous of spiritual gifts, for the building up of the assembly seek that ye may abound;

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing each other, in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, in grace singing in your hearts to the Lord;

so, then, comfort ye one another in these words.

wherefore, comfort ye one another, and build ye up, one the one, as also ye do.

An aged person thou mayest not rebuke, but be entreating as a father; younger persons as brethren;

preach the word; be earnest in season, out of season, convict, rebuke, exhort, in all long-suffering and teaching,

holding -- according to the teaching -- to the stedfast word, that he may be able also to exhort in the sound teaching, and the gainsayers to convict;

these things be speaking, and exhorting, and convicting, with all charge; let no one despise thee!

but exhort ye one another every day, while the To-day is called, that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of the sin,

not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as a custom of certain is, but exhorting, and so much the more as ye see the day coming nigh.

Because of paining the heart of the righteous with falsehood, And I have not pained it, And strengthening the hands of the wicked, So as not to turn back from his evil way, To keep him alive, Therefore, vanity ye do not see, And divination ye do not divine again, And I have delivered My people out of your hand, And ye have known that I am Jehovah!'

but see, lest this privilege of yours may become a stumbling-block to the infirm, for if any one may see thee that hast knowledge in an idol's temple reclining at meat -- shall not his conscience -- he being infirm -- be emboldened to eat the things sacrificed to idols,
